Ariana's POV
As the hours passed, people kept giving me stupid looks. Sometimes, when I pass by groups of people, they start whispering things about me. Like hello I'm not deaf, loud mouth!
I was off to my next class, which was math. The teacher, Mr. Forks, was lazy as fuck and didn't do shit. Literally when you walk into his class, you feel like you've walked into a trash can. All Mr. Forks did was shout at us and give us lectures about success and the future. It's a math class. Teach us something that's actually math related.
I walked into class. Nobody was there yet. I sat at the back of the class since we never really learned anything. I took out my phone and scrolled through instagram to pass time. After 4 or 5 minutes, people poured into the class. Someone tapped my shoulder. Justin. I smiled and put my phone up.
"Is this seat taken?" he asked.
"Yes. This seat is reserved for Josh Hutcherson."
Justin laughed at what I said. "Well too bad. Josh Hutcherson would have to go through me before he could sit here."
I giggled. Justin actually thought he was stronger than Josh Hutcherson.
Mr. Forks started giving a lecture about who knows what. All I heard was "Alright class, blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah learning Ariana?"
I looked up when Mr. Forks said my name. Did he just ask me a question?
"Uh..." I looked around the class. All eyes were on me, except Justin's. He was playing Temple Run on his phone. Typical Justin. Mr. Forks gave me a were-you-even-paying-attention look.
"It's um..." I nudged Justin. He looked up from his phone.
"What did Mr. Forks ask me?" I mouthed.
He shrugged. Seriously.
"The answer is um... 6?"
Everyone burst out laughing, including Justin. A wave of embarrassment crashed over me, but I quickly shook it off. I rolled my eyes. Whatever.
Mr. Forks shook his head. "Ariana, I asked you what we were going to learn today."
We're gonna learn something called nothing today Mr. Forks.
"See class this is what I'm talking about! Y'all don't pay attention! How are you..."
Ugh. Mr. Forks was giving one of his stupid lectures. Yes! I get it Mr. Forks! If you don't pay attention you won't succeed in life! Well Mr. Forks, if you don't teach us anything, HOW THE FUCK ARE WE SUPPOSED TO SUCCEED!
Justin slipped a note into my hand. I opened it and read it.
Let's pretend we needa go to the bathroom and leave school early so we could get some ice cream and then hang out at ur place
I thought about this for a second. Should I listen to Mr. Forks' stupid lecture for the rest of the class or get out of school early to eat ice cream and spend time with Justin. Hmm. I laughed at myself. Of course I pick eating ice cream and spending time with Justin. It wouldn't matter what class we were in I would still pick that option. I quickly wrote back.
Let's ditch this trashcan.
Justin and I had evil grins on our faces as we commenced the plan. I raised my hand.
"Mr. Forks I need to go to the bathroom." I said sounding as innocent as possible.
Mr. Forks nodded. I got all my belongings and left. I quickly ran to my locker and shoved all my notebooks and stuff in. I hope I don't get caught by a hall monitor. My mom would give me the biggest lecture and I would die because that lecture would last for centuries.
