CITY OF SALVEN PORT,
Year of 2003, September 24th
Four months had passed and Julia and her father were finally at the city of Salven Port. It was just as beautiful as Julia had imagined. The buildings were tall, the roads were clean of trash and the city was surrounded by gorgeous trimmed trees and plants. On and all, it was a city of heavens in Julia’s perspective.
The trip was quite long from their home. It took hours and hours of car ride until they reached their destination. They had gotten plane tickets from Rustam, but George had thought otherwise because he enjoyed car rides much better.
As they had reached Rustam’s house, they were quickly embraced by enormous amount of people in black and white uniforms. Staring at them in wonder, Julia was convinced that they were her Uncle’s servants, surrounding the driveway of the house and amongst them was Rustam, his face glowing with joy. At the first sight of the big white building, Julia couldn’t conceal her amazement of how fine-looking and humongous the house was.
There were at least about four modern cars standing on the driveway of the house reminding Julia of how small their house was back at the country that didn’t even have a driveway in front. The trees and plants were trimmed just like it was all around the city. There was a huge water fountain in front of the house, making the whole property even more appealing to the eyes of the audience. Then few steps away from the fountain, the house was enclosed by huge, tall gates.
Just staring at the outside of the house in awe, it made Julia anxious to see how the inside looked. As she and her father were ready to make their way towards Rustam, they both soon realized that Rustam was being supported by two of his servants. Looking at him in such unexpected and vulnerable state, Julia felt a pang of pain in her chest. She had never in million years expected to see her strong and healthy looking uncle in this state.
She turned and looked to see how her father was taking the whole situation and she was surprised when she saw that her father was concealing his shock with a big and happy smile. She quickly turned her head and focused on her uncle. As they all were facing one another with Rustam being held by the arms by his servants, he immediately embraced her father with a tight hug.
A smile of pure joy and appreciation framed Julia’s lips as she saw how much Rustam loved and valued his friendship with her father. As they let go, Rustam was immediately supported once again by his servants. This time, his whole attention was away from her father and on her. He stared at her intensely with a smile on his face and this immediately made Julia nervous.
She never liked attention and at that moment, she felt the whole crowd’s attention on her. He cheeks burned red as she nervously cracked a smile and she was sure she was looking like a bright red tomato.
“You look beautiful as ever my, Julia, more than beautiful actually. Henry is very lucky to be wed with a gorgeous goddess like you, my dear.” Hearing his kind words, it lessened some of her nerves as confidence took place instead. She never considered herself beautiful because she never got much compliments from anyone, other than her father in rare occasions.
Some of the people back home admired her tall height, but they never once complimented her on her looks. She smiled and walked closer to hug Rustam. “Thank you uncle Rustam, how are you feeling?” she asked as she was hugged tightly in return.
“I am doing well, my dear. Lets all go inside”. They soon made their way inside the house and this time, Rustam was being supported by George and Julia, instead of the servants. As they entered inside of the house, Julia wasn’t disappointed.
