Episode 2, Part 2

Off We Go!

(Jude suddenly bolts up from another crazy dream. He looks at the clock, which said 8:15, as usual. But, this time, he felt restless. So, he gets up and walks downstairs to the dining hall and sits down at a single table near the window.)

Jude: *Sigh* (Another restless night....I need to get more sleep, or it will negatively impact my health.) *Yawn* *Looks out the window* The streets seem quieter than usual....*Looks up* Oh! No wonder...it might rain today. *Pauses and looks out into the crowd*.......*He looks closely and sees someone familiar off in the distance....but the person disappeared* H-huh? (W-who was that?) *He looks one more time.* Maybe....I'm imagining things...Either that....or I'm really tired-

Muzet: Then why not get more rest, Jude? *Smiles as she floats beside him.*

Jude: Muzet! Did I wake you up?

Muzet: I feel no fatigue.

Jude: Oh, r-right! I forgot. You're a spirit.

Muzet: There is something troubling you, Jude.

Jude:....I don't understand.

Muzet: Hm?

Jude: N-now, don't take this personally...but why did Milla send you? has there been a dramatic change in the spirit clime somewhere afar off?

Muzet:.....

Jude: Or is there another life-threatening force out there that I have yet to find out about?

Muzet: *Smiles* You catch on quickly.

Jude: Huh?

Milla: *Leans in close to him* If you must know, then lead me to Master Gaius. Then, all of your questions will be answered.

Jude: *Gulp* Uh s-sure. (Didn't Milla ever teach you about personal space?!)

(Leia walks in along with Alvin.)

Leia: *Shocked*....! What's going on over here?

Jude: *Looks at Leia and Alvin* L-Leia?! Alvin?

Alvin: Woops! I had led you to the wrong room, Leia. I thought this was the dining area; but, apparently, I was wrong.

Jude: Guys, I can explain-

Leia: *Plugs her ears* Lalalalala! I'm not listening!

Jude: *Sigh* (Gimme a break!) -_-'

Muzet: *Goes over to Leia and Alvin.* I can assure you, nothing unusual happened between me and Jude. I was merely offering a suggestion.

Alvin: And that would be....

Muzet: Why, to continue our journey to Auj Oule, of course!

Alvin: You mean today?

Muzet: If that is what "right now" indicates, then yes!

Leia: *Unplugs her ears.* But we just got here.

Alvin: Well, it was nice seeing you all! *Walks off*

Leia: H-hey!

Jude: Alvin! Where are you going?!

Alvin: *Opens the door* Off to work. I'm a mercenary, remember? I can't laze around all day when there's plenty of opportunity out there to pocket some dough. Would love to join you....but, duty calls-

(Then, 2 raggedy old men call from a few feet away from the inn.)

Old man1: 'ey lookie here! It's Vinny!
