Well guess what she did next? Slapped his pretty little face? Turned him into a toad(though that's not possible anymore)? Or actually liked it? Should I tell you? Yes, you must be dying to know the part of the tale, so fear not my dear readers, for I will tell you...
Larmina pulled back and looked up at Admyn, a thing called fear in her eyes. And fear is one thing that she vowed never to feel. Almost breathless, she gasped out, "What was that?"
He smirked, his eyes twinkling, "A kiss."
"A what?!" She finally freed herself and retreated backwards until her back hit the carriage, noticing that it felt colder without the feeling of his warm hands. She hated her back for feeling so vulnerable and hated even more that it wanted the warmth back.
Stop feeling so insecure Mina! Send him to hell for what he dared to do. You may not be able to cast a spell on him, but you can punch him for all he's worth.
Her fist that was at her side clenched up into a ball, ready for attacking, even though the insides of her lungs made it difficult for her to breathe. Something was tugging at her heart and her brain wanted to use every power to stop it.
"Go away." Larmina finally managed to say through gritted teeth. Her mind was yelling, screaming even, to tell him to leave her alone, it was also telling her to do the sensible thing...which was to kill him.
She felt her nails dig into her skin, a wet substance appearing on her palm, debating with her heart and mind on what to do with him.
"Mina?" Admyn's wide hazel eyes with a tint of golden in them looked worried for her and maybe even for himself. "Look," he ran a hand through his dark, silky hair, making Larmina's fingers twitch from the need to run through them herself. "I—I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that, I know, but you have to understand that it's been bugging me all these years. Being so close to you yet never getting to tell you how I feel." He paused and sighed. "You walked in scared, homeless, and completely abandoned. Father took you in to help you find yourself because you could be so much; he saw that in you. So just as he brought you here, in some way, I did too. You've seen the side of me that no one else has ever dared to find out. You were there right by my side when Rayella went missing. Believe it or not Mina, you were there when I needed you most. When I needed everyone."
Larmina inwardly gasped. She had meant so much to him. There were times when she was smaller, when she wondered if she felt anything for him. She always told herself no. Because there was no room for love in her life. All of what she had of the precious feeling was gone in a flash. In just a mere minute, her family was murdered, one my one. No one could come back for that.
Her brain won the war, but with a compromise from the heart. "You are really lucky I didn't kill you Admyn." She held her bloody palm in front of his face. "And this is what I get for stopping myself."
Her "friend's" light blue eyes softened and a warm smile appeared on his face; which she undoubtedly noticed when she dropped her hand back to her side. "I took that chance, Mina."
She looked incredulously at him, "You risked your life just to get a bloody kiss from me?"
Admyn sighed, "Well, I'm not that stupid. I did have an advantage on my side."
"Well do indulge me on this significant piece of important information," Larmina sarcastically said as she put on a fake look of surprise.
"The friendship that we have...and your feelings for me."
She choked on the air, sputtering out, "What? My—my feelings for you? I have no bloody damn feelings for you!" Her heart was hammering inside of her chest, more than it ever did before.
