Chapter 17: Controlled Promise

< Lance's POV>
Wonder who's trying to control Luna? Maybe that person really hates her or something, come to think of it, her father still don't know about this, I'm gonna contact him now, since I haven't used the phone-like-hologram Luna gave me, then I contacted her dad, " Oh Lance, what a surprise you called your future step dad, honey! Lance is on the phone!" Mark called my mom(which is named Mary), " No, Mark, I was actually gonna talk to you" I told him, " oh, what is it?" Mark asked, " Luna has been in an accident" I answered Mark, " what?! How is she?! How's my baby girl?!" Mark asked, " whoa, whoa, whoa, she's ok, but not like an accident- accident, she's.... How do I explain it? She's been in an out of control accident or some sort" I explained, " do you mean when her eyes and aura turn purple and she destroys stuff?" Mark asked, " yeah, exactly like that.. I just want you to know because you're her father" I answered, " thanks Lance, maybe you should be with her now, you'll be her brother soon.. I mean you'll be her brother next week" Mark said, " wow.. Next week, wait, it's ok that Luna and I weren't there right?" I asked, " of course you have to be here, you two have to, but I understand if you can't be here.." He said and frowned, " ok, fine, I can't stand that face, I'll try to ask Allura about it, and plus Luna's still resting at her room after what happened," I replied, " thanks, so I'm gonna go, you should rest now, tell Luna my greetings, bye" Mark said and ended the call, wow, I'm gonna be a brother?! Who the heck told someone I wanted a sibling?! Maybe I'll rest for a bit too, nope! Just hungry, gotta go to the kitchen..
< Keith's POV>
I was still watching Luna, she really is sleepy, she's been sleeping for 2 hrs. Then I saw her wake up, " Keith? What are you doing here?" She said and sat up, " I was just looking after you, if that's ok?" I asked, " well, you asked late -chuckles-" she said, " there's the smile I've been waiting" I said and smiled too, then I sat beside her, then she leaned her head in my shoulders, then I held her hand, " here, wear this.." I said and pulled out a bracelet from my pocket, " wow, Keith... Thank you" she said and weared it, " It's a crystal I found when we first met each other on person, your brother said that it's a rare crystal there.. So I just needed to shape it into a crescent moon, suites your name" I explained, " thank you" she thanked me again, then she raised her head and said, " I think I'm hungry..", " -chuckles- stay here, let me get you something to eat" I said and standed up, " how about I get one myself?" She said and standed up too, " how about we both get one?" I said and laughed, " fine...-giggle-" she said and we stepped out of the room, I'm still thinking about her controlled part but it's best not to remind her about it.. Then when we reached the kitchen we saw Hunk and Lance eating, " hey, guys" she waved to them, " hey Luna, I called dad a while ago he wants me to say hi to you from me so, hi" Lance said, " wait, you just called him dad bro." She replied, " oh right, he said that mom and his wedding is next week, and he was thinking if we can attend?" Lance asked, " well.. If Allura agrees, anyways I sho-" she said and I gave her a bowl of food goo, " thanks" she said, then I saw her held her head as if it hurts, " are you ok?" I asked, " yeah, just a little headache.." She answered and continued eating, " everyone please go to the control room!" Coran reported, " Wonder what is it.. Come on" Hunk said and we went To the control room, " what is it Allura?" Luna asked, " we found an another planet being captive with galra, we need to help them" Allura answered, " are you all ready to go?" Allura asked, " sure, but what's the plan?" Shiro asked, " you paladins should go down there and free the people, since we already know they're are held captive" Allura answered, " what am I gonna do?" Luna asked, " well.. Umm... Maybe you should stay here, in case things get dirty there.." Allura answered, " oh... Ok.." Luna said and looked down, " let's get to our lions and go down there" Shiro said, " right!" All of us said except Luna , Allura and Coran, " wait here ok, we'll get back in just a minute" I said to Luna, " be careful" she replied, "sure" I said, then me and the others went to our lion and went to the planet, " Pidge, Hunk, you guys get to the prison, it's on the north side of the tallest tower there, while Shiro and the others stop the fighters and sentries on the fighting ground" Allura ordered us, then an huge building come from the ground and it turned into a cannon, then it charged and aimed at the castle...
< Luna's POV>
When a cannon aimed at the ship, I quickly made a barrier for the ship, because to be honest, the castle's barrier is so weak, then the beam reached my barrier, I flinched a bit but it doesn't hurt that much, then while we're distracted by that, Keith, Shiro and Lance is being pulled by a tractor beam, " Allura, what do we do now?!" Lance asked, " I'm going down there guys just hang on" I answered instead of Allura, then I went to a pod and went down there, when I got down, Shiro and the others are almost in the building that has a tractor beam, so I rushed into the that and shoot it with an energy blast, but it has a shield, so I raised the buildings around me and threw them at it, and it worked, " Thanks Luna" Lance said, then we noticed there are no fighter or sentries that are attacking, and then Pidge and Hunk managed to get the people out, and it's already dark, and then we stayed there and cleaned up things here and there, then when we finished up I went up in the hill and took a sit under the tree near the other kids that escaped from the galra, seeing them peacefuly playing makes me happy, then Keith sat beside me, " hey, what are you doing here?" Keith asked, " It's just a great view from here, I can see those kids playing, brings many memories.." I answered, " Sorry, I shouldn't have disturbed you in here." Keith said, " no it's ok, it's nice that I can see it with you.." I said and stopped him from going back to the castle, " is it really ok?" He asked, " of course, come on.." I said, then he held my hand and we enjoyed the view, then after a while, I'm almost asleep, I saw two siblings playing with each other, they're twins, then the other one fall on her knees, then the other girl helped her get up, then tears started falling from my eyes because I remember me and my sister like that years ago, then my head started to hurt so bad, " ahhh... -grunt-" , " What's wrong? Luna! Talk to me" Keith said, while my head is aching so bad while I'm facing the ground and holding my head because of the pain, and... The darkness started spreading again... No, Not again..
< Keith's POV>
" guys, something is happening to Luna, I think she's being controlled again!" I reported throught the radio, " yeah, we can see it from here, we're gonna go there now" Shiro said and made their way here, then Luna stopped screaming from pain... She's controlled, she looked at me with purple eyes, " who are you?! And why are you doing this to Luna?!" I shouted, then she charged an energy ball to fire at me, but Shiro and the others managed to stop her or him or anyone that's controlling Luna, then they tied her up or something, then Luna didn't stopped struggling from the tie, " what are you doing?" I asked them while Pidge is typing on his- I mean her computer, " we tied her up, so we can know who's controlling her, Hunk, put the device on her head now" Pidge answered, then Hunk placed a band or something on her head, " we're picking up the energy, sorry Luna, but this is gonna hurt" Pidge said and did something to Luna, I think she's being kind of electricuted on the mind, then she screamed, and the purple eyes disappeared, " stop it now, it's enough already!" I shouted, then Pidge stopped doing the thing, and Luna stopped moving, " did it work?" Lance asked, then Luna's eyes started opening, " she's back!" Shiro said, then we released her from the tie, " are you ok? Do you feel anything?" I asked, then she started crying, " What is it? It's over the person who's controlling you for a bunch of times can't do that anymore" Pidge said, " do... You know who.. It is?" She asked while crying, " I'm sorry, we don't" Pidge answered, " so it is her..." She said to herself, " do you know who it is? How did you know?" I asked, then she held out her hand and formed a white sphere in front of her, and I think she's showing us who it is,

when the image on it started being clear, we saw an event or some sort, we saw a woman wearing a white with purple gown, and... A freaky guy again?! Oh, it's a woman too, " I swear Haggar you won't get away with this.." The gowned woman said, " hehe... Don't worry Mystil.. I'll look after your precious little daughter and her worthless siblings with her while your gone..." The woman in the robe said, " you won't get her, she can put an end to you and the galra... You'll fall into your knees..." Mystil ( the gowned woman) said, then Haggar( you know her) smirked and said, " we'll see how strong this girl is, I'm sure you won't see her die!" And absorbed Mystil's life..

" Mystil is my mother... She was killed by Haggar, Zarkon's left hand" she said, " so what does it have to do with the controlling you?" Hunk asked, " you saw that Haggar absorbed my mom's life right? With her doing that, she already has a connection to me, with that she can easily reach me, and whenever my half human turn weak, she reaches me and control my neogetian half and make my body do what she wants... Destroy voltron..." She said while tears is falling from her eyes, "Luna..." I whispered and hugged her and tried to make her stop crying, " Don't worry, we'll get her, and she's gonna pay for what she did to your mother.." I said while hugging her, " we're gonna go back to the ship, we'll leave you two alone for a moment" Shiro said, then they went down the hill, and Lance stayed for a tick, " stop my future- sister from crying ok?" Lance said and went down with the others, Luna tried to stop crying but she really can't... " shhhh... It's ok now... I promise she won't get you again... You're safe with us... And we'll get that Haggar" I said and she stopped crying and we went to the ship and blasted off...
