Chapter 19: Setting the night
< Shiro's POV>
I was in the control room, because I was looking on the coordinates of the planets that we should free first, and then Coran detected a distress call from a nearby planet, " what is it?" Keith asked while entering the room with Luna and Lance, " we just detected a distress signal from that planet, we're just about to enter it's orbit, we must be ready for battle in case it's a captive planet" Allura said, " Coran, activate the barrier" Allura commanded while we're entering the orbit, then Coran activated the barrier, then while we're going through the clouds, the land became clear and we saw a galra battleship on the ground, then it started attacking us, " paladins, get to your lions!" Allura ordered us, " come on, let's go!" I said to the others and we went to our lion, " Their going to that castle, I'm going down too" Luna said, " ok, but be careful" Allura said and then Luna went to a pod and went down with us, then fighters was about to shoot her pod but.... " whoa, be careful! I thought I taught you how to protect yourself" someone said, and protected Luna, " I knew a ghost, guys, I'll protect the castle, you guys take the ship" Luna said, " got it! Ok guys, let's form voltron" I shouted, " yeah!" The others say and then we formed voltron and formed our shoulder cannon but it can't attack the ship because of it's barrier, " damn it! What are we gonna do now?!" Lance asked, " fire it again" Luna suggested, " did you just heared what I said? I said it can't hit it" Lance argued, " just shoot it again and I'll power it up so it can get through the barrier!" Luna shouted, " ok, let's do it one more time!" I said, then we shoot it and Luna added power on it by shooting it with our blast, then it did got through the barrier and destroyed the ship, " yeah! We did it!" Hunk shouted and celebrated, the fight was over so we got down, then when we got down.. " hey guys, come on here for a sec" Luna shouted and waved to us, she's with a guy, maybe it's the one from earlier, " hey, who's this?" I asked, " let me introduce myself, my name is Reil, I'm the ruler here at Ghetsis, nice to meet you" Reil introduced himself, " wait, I thought they're 7 of them?" Reil asked Luna, " oh right, Allura and Coran is still in the castle" Luna answered, " wait, you know each other?" Keith asked, " yeah, Luna is my best friend since we're 3 years old" Reil answered and pat Luna's head, " good work paladins" Allura said when she got down from the castle, " and she you must be princess Allura?" Reil asked, " yes, I am, is everyone in here safe from the attack?" Allura asked, " yes, they are all fine, they're already in there homes down the hill, and thank you for helping us" Reil said and grabbed Allura's hand out and honorly kissed it, then Allura blushed and fluttered, And the funny part is Lance is trying to hit him because he thinks that Reil is stealing Allura from him even though he's still trying to get close to Allura, and when Reil standed up and said, " I'd like to invite you all for a appreciation party for you helping us, I won't take no for an answer" Reil asked, " a party? Well, Allura is it ok?" Luna asked, " hmm.... Well, ok , I think it's not a problem on attending a simple party" Allura answered, " and you all need to wear the proper clothes, as usual the men will use suites and for the women.. Dresses" Reil said, " wait, sorry I don't have any dresses.." Luna told Reil, and I think she's telling the truth but she smiled because she won't have to wear a dress since she doesn't like dresses, " Don't worry, we have a wardrobe just for occations like this, maid, please accompany princess Luna to the dress wardrobe to get changed" Reil ordered, " I'll go with Luna, if she's not being watched she wouldn't wear a dress" Allura said and grabbed Luna, while Allura is dragging her she was trying to escape using her power but Allura has a yellow crystal so she can't use it, " see you guys later.." I said to Allura and Luna, " please don't No no no no!" Luna said while whining, " she really hates occations like this... And you guys should go in the men's wardrobe and get dressed up, while we prepare for the party, the party will be ready at sunset, so be quick with your work" Reil told us, " sure, come on guys" I said and Reil guided us to the wardrobe and got dressed up.
< Keith's POV>
Man... I hate wearing suits, after we got dressed we went down and saw that the party is ready, those people work so fast, " wait, where is Luna and Allura?" I asked while looking around, " maybe they're still dressing..." Lance suggested, " well, they know that the sun is about to set right?" Hunk asked, " oh come on guys, give them some time" Pidge said, and suprising Pidge weared a suit instead of a dress, and when the sun is about to set, I think I saw Luna walking out of the room upstairs while wearing a dress then she walked down to the stairs, and then when the sunsetted, sun's light shone into her and only her position has a light, everyone notices her while she was walking down the stairs, she's so beautiful, she was wearing a white dress with some blue marking in some parts and her hair is braided, when she got down I went to her and grabbed her hand, " hey... What took you so long?" I asked, " well, Allura still braided my hair so it took long, sorry.." She answered, " wow, are you even Luna?" Lance asked while walking to her, " no she's not.. I hate wearing dresses.." She said, " what? why? It looks great on you" I argued ," really?" She asked, " really.." I answered, and she smiled, " hey Luna, see.. I told you dresses suites you" Reil said, " anyways, there's food in the tables on the corners, you guys should eat before dancing later" Reil said and left, " wait, dance?" I asked, " don't mind him, he really wants dancing when it comes to occasions like this" Luna said, " come on, let's pick a table and eat" she said and grabbed my hand and pulled me to the tables to eat, then all of us had a great time talking about things, it's fun being with someone you love, after we ate,Reil annouced something while in the dance floor, " everyone, the dance floor is now open for dancers",then walks to Allura " Allura, can you dance with me?" Reil asked, " S-Sure.." Allura answered and danced with Reil,
< Luna's POV>
" - chuckles - Reil really knows how to flirt someone" I said and looked at them dancing, then Lance standed up and tried to get to him but I stopped him, " stop it, that won't do anything" I told him, " fine! But I'll get him later" he said and sat on back to his chair while making a quite evil laugh, " your creepy.." I replied, then Keith standed up and... " Luna, can we dance?" He asked to me, and held out his hand on me."dance? But I don't know how to dance.." I answered, " don't worry, I'll lead so you won't make a mistake, come on" he said grabbed my hand and we went to the dance floor and danced while holding both of our one hand and one of my hand on his shoulders and one of his hand on my waist, " just like this.." He said and led our dance, I looked at my toes so I can't step on him, " come on, don't worry, you won't make a mistake.. Your doing great" He said, and we continued dancing, then when I got the steps I finally got to dance without Keith leading, then I smiled, " see I told you, you can do it.." He said, then he held my waist tighter making me so close to him then I started blushing, " ... W-where did you even learned to dance like this?" I asked, " I saw it once on Earth, never thought I'd actually dance like this" He answered, " Looks like you learned a lot on your own.." I replied, " On my own... Alone" I heard Keith whispered and frowned, " Hey, don't do that... You won't be alone.." I said and smiled to him, then he looked at me with a sad look, "-sigh-" I sighed, I sanged to make him stop being sad for a while,

Then I stopped singing, " Thanks for being with me.." He said and finally smiled, " It's nothing, being with you is an experience.." I said and smiled too, then after a while Lance said he would take his turn on dancing with me, then Keith lend him the turn, and when were already dancing, " how can I dance with Allura? I can't dance with her when that friend of yours won't let me?!" He asked while were dancing, " did you even asked him that your gonna dance with Allura? If you don't, then ask him, he can lend you a turn, idiot" I answered, " well, might as well try.." He said and went to Reil to lend a turn dancing with Allura then he got the turn, finally, then Shiro and the others danced with me too, after the dances, I went to the terrace to breathe fresh air, then I sanged again to remember old times here..

Then Keith stepped in the terrace, " Hey, why are you here?" He asked, " Just remembering something.. Old memories.." I said and looked at the night sky, " who's behind the song you just sang?" He asked and stand beside me, " -sigh- it's mom.." I said with a sigh and a frown, " I know you miss her, don't worry, she's happy for you now.. And she wants you to be happy" He said and lifted my chin to motivate me, " Thanks, Keith.." I thanked him and smiled, then he kissed me for a sec. And smiled ," come on, Allura's looking for us.." He said and we went to Allura and she said we should go now, then we approached Reil, " Reil, we had a great time here, but I'm afraid we have to go" Allura said, " of course, I shouldn't hold you guys here for so long, but all of you had fun right?" Reil asked, " of course" I answered with a smile, " see you guys.. Luna... It's good to see you again, I wish good luck to all of you on stopping Zarkon" Reil said and we went to the ship and blasted off the planet while seeing the bright colors of lights of the castle from the sky..
