Chapter 27: Seeing through darkness

< Luna's POV>
" Haggar..." I whispered, " Princess Luna, I have something to ask you" Haggar said, " What is it?" I asked with fierce, " Surrender Voltron to the galra's hands or you will face the consiquences of your actions..." She answered, what's the consiquences she's talking about.. " what do you mean consiquences???" I asked, " hehe.. You see.. I know the whole you, I know the things you love, the people.. You LOVE.." She said, people?! My.. My family.. But first I didn't believe her, " Just get to your point!" I shouted, " Really? You really want to know.. Emperor Zarkon has told me to make a plan to get voltron, and that plan is this.. I have my druids ready to fire a blast to Neogetia and their gonna fire any moment if you don't give Voltron to our hands..." She answered, Our planet?! " N-Neogetia... N-No.. I won't but.." I whispered to myself and dropped to my knees, " Luna, don't! She's tricking you!" Shiro said and went in front of me, " b-but my family.. My home.. I can't.. I don't want it to dissappear.." I answered to him, " For the last time, answer or you'll see your planet get destroyed.. Imagine, A life without a family, a home, an empty life indeed, you'll be alone, forever alone..... Now answer!" She said, "..........." Silence took over me because of hesitation, " You had your chance... FIRE!!" She shouted and ordered to fire the planet, I can't make a barrier that far.. " NO!!!" I shouted, then we saw the druids fired and shoot Neogetia... No... My f-family... My home.. My memories with my family in Neogetia flashed through my eyes.. My f-family is...Gone... And we saw Neogetia exploded, as I sit on my knees on the ground... I cried, then Haggar just laughed, then my body started heating up and the ground starts shacking,
< Keith's POV>
Luna... Haggar is monster! she destroyed Luna's planet and just laughed?! Huh? Luna.. I saw her standed up and her eyes.. It glowed purple.... Dark purple.. And with the glowing eyes, the ground is shacking, and the heat turned up, then she walked to the screen, " I'LL GET YOU, YOU MONSTER!!!" She shouted, " your mine.." Haggar said, and then purple aura started surrounding Luna, oh no.. She's trying to control Luna again, " Luna! Calm down!" I shouted, if she can't calm down, Haggar is going to control her all over again, I'm not gonna lose her, Not Luna, Not anyone.... then Luna faced us with her eyes, then fired a blast to us, then we dodged it, " Luna, wake up!" I shouted again, " Keith, she can't hear you anymore" Lance said, " Let's get to our lions!" Shiro shouted and we went there,Mark went to the castle of lions to take cover, while Sam and Matt went with Pidge in her lion so they can't get mixed up with the explosions and the prisoners are all gone to return to their planets so Luna can't hurt innocents here, I have to snap Luna out, I won't lose her this time, then we flew in the air to try and stop Luna, but she just keeps firing us, " we need to fight back" Pidge suggested, " you want to fire at Luna?! No! She maybe controlled but It's still her!" I shouted, " then what do you suppose we should do with her?!" Pidge asked, " Just avoid her shots, maybe we just need to ran out of energy" I answered, " No, Waiting for her energy to ran out is futile, you have to snap her out!" Mark said, " but how?!" Lance asked, " I..... Don't know..." Mark answered, " Oh come on, you said that waiting for her to get tired is useless, but you don't know what to do instead?!" Lance argued, " Lance, stop it, if there's a way, we're gonna find it so we can help Luna" Shiro said, " what do we do in the mean time?" Hunk asked, " uhmm..." Shiro said and speechless because we don't know what to do, I was so frustrated so I went down and went out of my lion, " Keith, what are you doing?!" Lance asked, " what I can.." I answered, then I ran to Luna, then she saw me, " Luna, Wake up... this is not you..." I said and walked towards her, then she shot me with an energy ball, and it hit me, it hurts but I still need to wake her up, " Wake up! You won't be alone, y--" I said, but before I finish what I'm gonna say she blasted me again, " Keith! Get out of there!" Mark shouted, " I won't go anywhere.." I said, then when I got close enough, (a/n: and by close enough means in front of Luna) then I fell on her because of losing my balance after taking the blasts, " Your not alone... You got Mark, Lance, Lina, Shiro and the others, Your step mom, and you got me..." I said and hugged her even though she's controlled,
< meanwhile in Luna's mind>
What's going on? It's pitch black.. Wait My planet is destroyed... I can see my planet get destroyed over and over again.. No... Then I saw a light and I walked towards it, and it's a screen, then I saw what's going on outside, K-Keith, what is he doing? He's gettig killed out there.. All because of.. Me? Then I fell on my knees, " I'm going to be alone in this world... My planet's gone, I'm trapped.. And Keith is going to be taken too.. What did I do? Did I do something wrong.. To make them dissappear? Then I cried.. Knowing that.. I can't do anything anymore.. Then I heard Keith talking, " Your not gonna be alone... You got Mark, Lance, Lina, Shiro and the others, Your step mom, and you got me..." He said and hugged me, Keith.. Thank you for being there for me.. Now I have to give it all back, your attention, care, compassion, time and faith for me.. I'm gonna give it all back to you again, I promise.. Then I saw a light again, it looks like an exit, so I ran towards it, and then a shadow tried to stop me by pulling me back to the darkness, but not this time, " stop it! I'm not going back there! Someone is out there, someone who's waiting for me to come back.. I won't fall for your trap again, ever!" I said, then the shadow dissappeared, and I ran to the light and got control of my body,
< Back to Keith's POV>
I won't give up on you, Luna.... I won't leave you like this.. Please come back.. Then Luna's eyes stopped glowing " K-keith..." Luna said while trying to wake up, " Luna? Are you back?" I asked and helped her get up, " I think... -smile-, -frown- Keith, My family.. My home.. It's gone.." She said and started crying and hugged me, then I started patting her back, " Keith, is my baby back?" Mark asked, " yes..." I answered, then Mark and the others went down here, then Luna saw her father walking to her, " Luna.." Mark said while walking towards her, when his in front of Luna, Luna hugged him and continued crying, " Dad.. Lori, Kai, Cynthia...( her siblings) There gone, all my people, our home... All gone" Luna said while crying, then Mark hugged her back to make her stop crying," Sorry about your Planet Luna..." Shiro said, " yeah... Me too" Hunk added, while looking at me with a concerned face, " Thanks guys..." She said and rubbed her tears away and looked down at the ground, " Luna, I know your upset about this but.. You shouldn't let it get you down, Your siblings wouldn't want you to be like this.." Mark said, then Luna raised her head to look at her dad, " Even I don't want you to be like that.." Mark said, " ok.. I'll try to be ok.." Luna said and smiled, " There's my baby girl.." Mark teased, " Stop it" Luna said and punched her dad in the shoulders, she finally laughed.. I smiled because of that,
<Luna's POV>
" Yup that's Luna alright" Lance added, " I don't want to wreck the moment here but, is anyone else hungry?cause I am and I want to go back to the castle to eat" Hunk added, " Sure let's go back" Shiro said, then we went back to the castle, before we left, I saw Keith having trouble to walk maybe, before he fell.. " Careful!" I said when I catched him, " Thanks" Keith said and smiled, " I should be the one thanking you Keith, If you didn't called out for me to wake up there, I wouldn't have seen you guys again.." I said while helping him, " That was nothing, I just don't want to lose you anymore.." He said and looked at me, " Thanks Keith.." I said and hugged him, then he kissed me in the cheek, " Hey guys! Come on, you can snuggle each other later, let's get inside!" Lance shouted at us from afar, " Coming Boss!" I shouted back with a laugh, " Come on, let's go.." I said and helped Keith walk to the castle, I'm gonna get Haggar for this.. For all she's done to my family, She won't know what's gonna hit her,
