*one month after the party*
I woke up to a phone call.
"Feel like I'm back on the playground,
Roses in my hands now,
Heart's about to jump out my chest-" JC's ringtone echoed throughout my room.
I sleepily picked up the phone.
"Hello?" I said, yawning.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty!" he said.
"What do you want, Justin?"
"Ouch, someone's cranky!" he chuckled.
"Well duh I'm cranky! You woke me up!" I whined.
"Fine. I'll make this quick. Meet me at Kian's house in 30 minutes sweetie!" he said sarcastically, and hung up.
I hopped out of bed, running into my bathroom. Looking in the mirror, I grimaced. My reddish brownish hair was standing on top of my head, and my makeup was all over my face.
I quickly took off all of my makeup, and hopped in the shower. I was overcome with a feeling of relief, thanks to the warmth of the shower.
Once I hopped out of the shower, I changed into some black high-waisted shorts and a light purple shirt. I dried my hair, and then curled the ends. I slipped on my black Vans and put a light purple studded cross case on my phone. I went into my bathroom, and did a near-perfect winged eyeliner and put on a tiny bit of mascara.
I ran down the stairs, grabbing my wallet and keys. I left a note telling my parents where I would be, since they were at work.
Once I got to Kian's house, I jumped out of my car and ran up to the door.
JC answered the door, and I hugged him. We hugged for a little longer than we should've, but I didn't mind.
"Eww, get a room!" Ricky yelled.
"Why don't YOU get a room, Dillon!" I yelled back at him, gesturing to his girlfriend sitting next to him.
She mock-gasped, and I laughed, coming into the house.
"Connor? Do you want to explain why you're laying on the table?" I asked him,.
"Because I'm too fab for you," he replied, taking selfies.
"Fair enough," I said, sitting down on the couch next to Kian.
"So, what do we have planned for today?" JC asked, sitting next to me.
"Well, I was think we could-" Kian started, but he was cut off by an ear-piercing scream.
"OMG!!!!!!!!!" Connor screamed, still on the table.
"WHAT??" Ricky yelled.
"JACK WANTS TO KNOW IF WE WANT TO GO MEET DARREN CRISS!!!!"
"Wait, you mean thatsojack?" Ricky's unnamed girlfriend asked.
"Duh!" we all said. Except Connor. He kept on fangirling.
"When!!!?!?" we all asked.
"A week from tomorrow!" Connor said, in his fangirl voice.
"YES!" we all said, high-fiving each other.
After about an hour of fangirling, Ricky's girlfriend had to leave. She quickly kissed Ricky, and left.
Ricky just sat there, dazed.
"Ricky!" I said, snapping in his face. He snapped out of his daze.
"Sooo, what should we do?" Kian asked.
"I know," I said, smiling mischievously.
"What?" JC asked.
"Truth or dare" I said.
"Okay, Sadie, truth or dare?" Kian said.
"Dare!" I said.
"I dare you to...kiss Sam."
"Um. ok?" I walked over to him and pecked him on the cheek.
I turned around to see JC with an angry look on his face.
I walked over to him, and sat on his lap.
"JC," I said, taking his hand. "truth or dare?"
"Dare." he said sadly.
"I dare you to be happy."
He looked up at me, and did something that surprised me.
He took my face in his hands, and kissed me. Let me just say, it was perfect! I felt his hand on my face, then pushing a stray piece of hair behind my ear. I shivered. He smelled so good, and I wanted the kiss to last forever. But sadly, he pulled away first.
"There," he whispered in my ear. "Now I'm happy."
