Chapter 16

I wake up to the sun blinding me. I sit up and rub my eyes.

I notice Ryder slipping on his shirt. He makes eye contact with me. After last night it felt uncomfortable to be around him.
And I think he knew it too.

"So I'm going home now. Charles wants me to play video games with him. Let me know if you hear anything about Blake,"Ryder says putting on his shoes.

"I will"I whisper.

He nods and waves goodbye before leaving.

I sigh and get out of bed. I slip on some jeans and a T-shirt and grab my car keys. I have to see Blake.

I get in my car and drive to the hospital.

When I got to the hospital I went to the room where Blake was at. I step in the room and notice him laying in the bed.

He looks up at me and gives me a weak smile. I walk over to the side of the bed and sit down.

He had a bandage on his leg where he got shot. He looked weak and tired.

"Blake"I whisper. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you to"he whispers back.

"Your doing better." He nods and grabs my hand.

"You know I want to thank you for helping me in the janitors closet the best you could."

"Your welcome. I couldn't loose you Blake"I say truthfully.

"I know and thank you again." I nod and squeeze his hand.

"The doctors said you'll be alright for now. They don't want you to move at all yet until you get completely better."

He groans and then nods. 

"Alright then I have to go but I'll come and visit you soon okay."

I stand up and hug him carefully before walking out of the room.

  3 months later
I place the popcorn in between me and Aaron.

Me and Aaron have been dating for 1 month now. Me and him started to feel things after me and Ryder broke our friendship.

We haven't heard from Ryder ever since then. And we haven't gotten any threats from Sean in a while. Which was good. And Dylan and I broke up he went to jail to for abusing me.

Aaron slings his arm around my shoulder and kisses my forehead.
"Okay for real guys that is disgusting"Nathan and Charles groan.

"Shut up and just watch the movie"Aaron growls. We were all having a movie day. And it was going great until Nathan and Charles had to open their big mouths.

I rub Aarons arm to keep him cool. I look over at Blake who was staring at Clair. He's been doing that a lot. I think he really likes her. Blake's been doing good to after the shooting a few months ago.

Everything was just perfect. I cuddle more into Aaron's chest.
He chuckles and starts to play with my hair. 

I swat his hand away and stand up. The movie was over.

"Alright everybody I'm crashing and y'all can stay the night"I yawn. They all nod and pull out blankets and put them on the floor.

I grab Aarons hand and lead him to my bedroom. I change into PJs and hop into bed next to Aaron.

He pulls me to his chest and I close my eyes. 

I wake up to Aaron playing with my hair. He likes doing that a lot.

"Good morning beautiful"he says giving me a peck on the lips.

"Good morning."

He sits up and stretches making his muscles flex.

"Party tonight at James." I nod. James was the captain of the basketball team. 

I get up and walk over to my closet. It was the middle of march and I still don't know what to wear to a party.

I finally decide on a black dress that stopped at my knees. I put on the dress and curl my hair.

I apply little makeup and slide on black pumps. I grab my phone and make my way downstairs.

The whole gang was waiting on me near the front door. Aaron smirks and hooks his arm with mine.

"You look absolutely beautiful"he whispers sending chills down my back.

"Alright let's get this show on the road"Charles says opening the
door.

Ryder's POV
I grab a beer and sit down on the couch. I finally come back to California after three months.

I went Arizona to get away from everything.

I sigh and lay back. This is James party I should not be thinking I should be having fun.

I hear the door open. I look and my eyes widen. It was the whole gang but where was Ashley?

They all go their separate ways. Was Ashley sick? Just as I made that last comment I saw her.

She was wearing a short black dress. She looked beautiful. Behind her was Aaron. His arms were wrapped around her.

Is she dating him? She couldn't be. 

I sit there and watch them. She turns around and plants a kiss on his lips. I cringe at this. They are dating.

I look away and look down at the floor.

I look back up to see Blake picking up Clair. She laughs and slaps his chest playfully.

I've missed so much. My sister is happy and so is Ashley.

Ashley grabs a beer and sits on the couch on the far right. 

"Aaron babe come sit with me"she whines. I laugh to myself.
He fake scoffs and sits down. He pulls her onto his lap. I guess her and Dylan broke up. 

He plays with her hair while she giggles. I wanted that to be me so much playing with her hair while she giggled. 

Clair notices me and her eyes turn dark. She storms over to me and slaps me. This makes everybody stop what their doing and stare.

"You idiot you left us three months ago and your back"she screams. Blake holds her back.

He whispers something in her ear making her calm down.

Ashley walks to her side her eyes dark as well. Her face was red also. 

"You have a lot of nerve to come back here"she sneers.

What happened to her? She used to be nice. 

I stand up and she readys to punch me but Aaron holds her back.

"I'll just be going now"I say walking upstairs to the bathroom.

What happened to all of them?
