Phil's Pov
I dragged my suitcase up the second flight of stairs as I saw the landlord waiting for me
"Are you Dan Howell?" He asked me
"No I'm Phil Lester" I said smiling
"Oh okay feel free to choose a bedroom and I'll give you a tour when Dan gets here" he said as I choose the nearest bedroom plonking down my things
Before I could even unpack I heard someone with a suitcase and saw Dan
He looked at me as I saw his dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes and his cute dimples
"Hey!" I said walking up to him smiling widely
"Oh hey" Dan said
"Your Phil Lester aren't you?"
"Yep your Dan Howell right?"
"Yeah that's me, just a sad nerd named Dan"
I laughed as he smiled at me
"Ready for the tour?" I said as he nodded
I absolutely loved the house and Dan seemed happy but there was something about him... he seemed sad but I didn't say anything, I barely knew him and I didn't want him to hate me
I left Dan to unpack as I heard him humming along to High school musical
I walked into his room as he was folding up some t-shirts
"Oh hey Phil" Dan said sitting on his bed flicking his hair out his face pulling down his long sleeve shirt
"Hey Dan, do you wanna order a pizza for dinner and we can like get actual food tomorrow?"
"Yeah sure"
"It's my treat" I said as Dan smiled
"What kind do you want?"
"Um Hawaiian please"
"Sure" I said smiling leaving his room
I ordered Dan his Hawaiian pizza and I ordered myself a pepperoni pizza and some chocolate ice cream to share
I put on some anime as the food arrived
"For Mr Lester?" The guy said
"Yep that's me" I said smiling taking the food
"Thanks bye!" I said closing the door
Dan walked out of his room rubbing his eyes with his hair sticking up
"Foods here, wanna watch some anime?" I asked
"Sure whatcha watching?"
"Sword art online"
"Omigod yesssss!!!" Dan said as he ran into the living room and I laughed
He sat down and started eating his pizza as I sat next to him
"So Dan how come you moved here?" I asked
"Well I hated my home and my parents hated me and well everyone hated me including myself so I'm trying not to hate myself the only person who actually cares about me is my Nan but she's ill and-"
