It was easy for people to wish that they could feel more, to understand the way a person feels when they weren't burdened and dragged down by a plethora of emotions. There is a multitude of words that can describe a feeling but not one of them can really describe the feelings that grow inside of you.

She had learnt that colours worked best when she couldn't find the right word. A colour was general but it was something that a can be easily interpreted but it would never live up to the way she felt.

Nothing ever lived up to the way she felt anymore. Her emotions came in waves, a pull and push that was often overwhelming. She could never explain how horrible it was to feel everything with such tremendous weight, but it was nothing compared to feeling absolutely nothing.

Cold. Numb. Words that were often whispered in the Cullen home. She could feel their eyes on her, watching her every movement as if she was a time bomb. No one really understood; Jasper often had trouble explaining it, Edward would often wince at her loud thoughts. Alice hovered, each actions was full of mothering and furrowed eyebrows; she had become a fuzzy picture in her visions.

Andy sat staring out the window blankly. Bella was in her room, obsessively calling and trying to reach Jacob. The pair had been sending notes through the parents, a secretive messaging system that they could keep away from Edward and the others.

She felt like Bella should have known better, should have been more aware that she was observant. Andy had seen the notes, she had read them and gagged at how much they sounded like star crossed lovers that were crashing to the ground.

Bella was awkward; loving a boy that she knew she would never spend the rest of her life with, the rest of eternity. Jacob was love sick; hasty handwriting and barely thought out sentences were scratched onto a piece of paper. They were hidden meanings hidden between the lines, each trying to tell the other something that would otherwise ruin the basis of their friendship.

Andy was often mentioned as well. Her name thrown back and forth freely, commonly. Jacob was worried, this was his only method of checking up on her. She had yet to call any of them back, to speak to any of them.

So that was how she knew that Bella was going to sneak out, to try and put herself into that dangerous position. She could tell how her sister thought, even before she knew what she was going to do.

Stepping away from the window, she navigated toward the top of the stairs. Andy didn't glance towards the people in the living and simply made her way outside.

Bella sat there, in her truck with her yes clutched in her hand. The younger girl silently made her way out to the old cab, watching her sister with annoyance. She stood quietly with her arms wrapped around her middle when she felt Edward come up to her side.

The brooding vampire sighed, "She wants to go to-"

"-Jacob's. I know," She cut him off. "She isn't going anywhere. I made sure of it."

The boy looked at her inquisitively, but never got to ask as Bella came storming out of the driver seat and toward her engine.

"You might want to go. She spent a lot of time in his garage, so she might know how to fix it." Andy could see the confusion and frustration on Bella's face from where she stood. "Or maybe she has no idea."

She shook her head at her sisters failed attempts and then groaned when the elder girl began to argue with her boyfriend.

"Just go inside Bella," Andy called out. "It's for the best."

"What did you do?" the older Swan turned her anger onto her sister.

"Just go inside and I'll fix it," she spat back angrily. "You clearly aren't understanding how dangerous this is."

Andy lazily made her way to the front of the truck and looked it over. Rolling up her sleeves, she made quick work of sorting everything out and fixing it

"What did you do?" She jumped at the voice and gave him a glare. Edward didn't faze at her action.

"Your girlfriend is kinda stupid. All I did was unplug the battery." The vampire rolled his eyes and walked to the back of the house; Bella's room.

She stood still, thinking. Numb, she didn't mind the temperature of outside. She found it refreshing, welcoming.

It had been a few weeks since she had last spoken to any of them, since she had even glanced in the direction or the reservation. Carlisle had explained what he knew of the wolves and Andy didn't want anything to do with them. According to the Cullen patriarch, valerians were closely linked with both vampires and shifters in the past. Valerians always died young around wolves.

Pulling her phone from her back pocket, she scrolled to the number that the pack would think her least likely to call. She would have normally felt nervous, but she was in one of her off episodes.

The phone rang multiple times before he answered.

"Andy? Is that you?" he rushed out. He sounded nervous, almost frantic.

"Listen, and listen good. Firstly, don't talk about me in your stupid little love letters, it's disgusting," Her voice sounded detached, even to her ears. "Secondly, leave Bella alone. She isn't going over there anytime soon so get over your little kindergarten crush and stay on your side of the treaty line."

"What?" Aggression, she could sense it in his slightly raised tone.

"Are you stupid Jacob, or is it a dog thing?" Andy rolled her eyes. "My idiotic sister was planning on sneaking out tonight to see you but I screwed with her truck. Just stay away from her, stay away from us."

She pulled the phone away from her ear, ready to hang up when she heard him yelling at her to wait.

"Andy! Just- are you safe? Are you okay? You were hurt that day, we all saw what happened," He began talking louder, nearly shouting at her.

"Listen, Black. I'm fine. I'll be even better if you and your mutts leave me alone," Andy growled at him and she could have sworn she heard his breath hitch.

"They really got to you, didn't they?" He whispered.

"I form my own opinions; I don't need some Alpha male telling me what to do, unlike certain people."

"Is that her? Where's Black? Someone give me the phone!" His voice echoed in her ears, a distant sound from the background on the other side but she could hear it loud and clear.

"Just stay away Jacob, I'm not going to tell you again."

Hanging up her phone, she shoved it into her pocket roughly and made her way inside. Hos voice shouldn't have affected her this much, shouldn't have shaken her up and pained her.

Andy felt like she needed a nap.
