Their words hit her like a thousand needles piercing through my dark skin. Tears in the shape of teardrops raced down my pimpled cheeks. My heart throbbed as i realized I will never be good enough. I will never be able to match their whitening palettes nor the ideal magnitude on their weighing scales. I will never be able to compete their fleek eyebrows or be their perfect version of a 16 year old. Instead, i allow the iron to pierce through my skin. It hurt. But not as much as society hurts.

Behind all this, the grim reapor and the snake broke into fits of laughter.

Society, you are a crazy breed.
