Chapter 6
The weeks passed by and it came like Hinata suggested. Kageyama asked the girl out and, of course, she agreed. They met twice a week, went on dates, or to Kageyama's house. Hinata didn't ask the blond to be his girlfriend, although Kageyama talked to him for hours why he didn't like her.
It was obviously that she had a crush on him, even Kageyama could tell. But all Hinata said, was that he was already looking after someone he wanted to date but he didn't tell his setter who it was.
"Just tell me, I told you everything about me or my crushes, stop being a dick!" he messed up his own hair while he was talking to Hinata.
"I'm not sure if the person will accept my feelings but when I'm sure, I'll tell you okay?" he tried to calm the taller one down
"That's not fair." He pouted.
"Oh common, stop pouting." Hinata laughed and kissed the other ones forehead. Surprised Kageyama looked up. "I'll definitely tell you, Kags."
"I'll wait, and you better pick up a girl who really deserves you, I don't wanna see you sad either when things go wrong." The black haired patted Hinata's back slightly. "If that happens, I'll be there for you like you were for me plenty times."
"Thanks."
A few days later, Hinata stood in front of Kageyama's girlfriends' house. He already was there before when the four of them had a movie night. He rang the doorbell.
A short melody played and after a few seconds the door swung open. "Hinata! Nice to see you. What brings you all the way here to my house?" she asked and smiled at him.
"I wanted a advice, it's about your best friend. Do you have some free time?" he smiled shyly at her. "Of course! Wanna come in for some coffee?" she asked and stepped aside so Hinata could walk in. "Do you mind if we walk a bit? Fresh air to calm my minds. I'm really- I don't know how to put this, I'm so excited because I got such a special feeling in my heart."
"Sure, that's so cute. Wait a moment, I'll get my jacket." She ran back into the house and came back, wearing her black shoes, holding a slight red jacket in her arms.
"Ready?" Hinata asked and held out his hand for her. She took his hand and stepped down the stairs. "A gentleman like Kageyama huh?" she laughed and put on her jacket. "But now tell me what's going on. I'm so curious if it's what I think it is!"
"Alright. So, I thought about this for a while and... I can't get her out of my head. Every time I try, I see her smiling face in front of me, hear her laugh and I just... I feel so happy. I don't know what to do." Hinata started, waiting for the other girl to respond.
"Aww Hinata that means that you're in love with her!" she nearly screamed and smiled widely.
"You sure?"
"Of course, you're totally in love with her. And luckily, I know that she feels the same. She told me after the first time we all meet that you're really cute and charming." She patted his back and smiled to herself. "And what should I do?"
Time passed by and she didn't notice that they walked further and further. They reached a small shack that stood at the beginning of a small forest. "Wow we really were into talking, I didn't know we walked that far." She laughed and looked at Hinata. "That's true, I wasn't here before."
Bloody lie
"What's that? A shack?" curious, she walk over and tried to open the door. "Seems so, it looks really old, let me help you." Softly he shoved the girl aside and opened the door.
"I have to tell you something." He started with an emotionless voice.
"What is it?" she asked and stepped beside him. "I really don't like you, you're so godamn annoying. Your squeaking voice, your 'love' to Kageyama, let me tell you one thing. You're not needed. Kageyama is mine, don't step into his world like nothing and lie to him. You're so heartless, in the end, you think you'll find someone better than him and leave Kageyama, and I'm here to prevent that."
"What are you saying? Hinata stop joking around that really hurts if you continue." She said and got some space between them.
"I'll hurt you even more. Shall I tell you a nice story?" without waiting for an answer he continued talking. "He already had two girlfriends before you. The first one was easy to get rid of. The second... well you heard about the girl who got murdered in an alley? Guess who cut her throat? I won't hesitate to kill you too."
She looked at him in pure shock. "What are you saying? You're Kageyama's best friend! You can't just kill people he'll find out! I promise I won't tell anyone about this okay? Your secret is safe here so please just let me go home okay?" she started crying and looked at Hinata in fear.
"Okay."
"O-okay?"
"Just stay here for a moment, is that okay?" he asked and gave her his innocent smile. "Yeah." she answered with a shaky voice. Hinata walked slowly into the shack. "Don't run away." he chuckled a bit and picked something up from the ground.
When he turned around, he saw that the girl was still standing there. "You are so stupid. You should have run away, for Christ's sake I'll murder you so or so." He shook his head and walked over to the shaking girl.
"Still not running?"
"P-please don't kill me. Hinata please!" she screamed and cried harder. "Oh my, that's what the other girl said before I sliced her throat. Pathetic." Hinata held a pickaxe above his head, ready to kill Kageyama's girlfriend with it.
"No!"
Too late, the pickaxe moved down fast, through her flesh and bones. The cracking sound was louder than expected but it didn't care. The most important thing to do was now to get the corpse moved from here quickly. The rain would wash away the blood but the dead girl couldn't be lay here.
He was about to grab her legs and get her into the shack when he heard a noise behind him...
