Look all you have to do is walk in there and tell the lady you need to talk to Lydia!
I know I know! you've told me the plan like seventy times! I just don't understand where this leads me too!
I'll tell you that part after you go in there!
Ugh. Fine! I take a long look at the store. The door is a dark glass to where you cant see the inside but I'm sure they can see out. The walls are all wood. An ugly almost grey wood that makes my skin crawl. I take a deep breath before opening the door. A bell above the door rings throughout the empty store. The shelves are stacked with many random items. Plants, herbs, oils, incense, pretty much the whole nine yards. The air is thick and smells like someone was burning fifty different kinds of incense. Covering a cough I head up to the front desk.
No ones there so I ring the small golden bell on the desk. After waiting a few seconds I ring it again.
A very short stubby woman comes through a doorway full of beads. She's wearing a short flannel dress that sways as she walks towards me. Her face is full of hard lines that seem so determined. I start fidgeting with my hands as she stands in front of me. Her grey eyes bore into mine as if she was looking past me.
"May I help you Serina?"
"...how'd you know my name?" I ask tilting my head in confusion.
"I know more than you may know and I also know why you came here. I will return in a few minutes with my daughter." Before I could answer she left through the beaded door.
She never fails to surprise me.Now will you tell me why I'm here!
Oh yea! Well....look Lydia knows who you are she knows who I am ....she knows a lot about spirits. She can help you find Justin.
When did I say I wanted to find Justin?
You didn't have too. It was kind of obvious
Before I can start arguing with Sunny a very small pretty woman walks through the beaded door followed by the woman from earlier. They resemble eachother with there grey beady eyes and long black hair.
But something about the girl is more calming unlike the creepy woman who puts me on edge.
"I'm sorry I make you feel that way honey. I just seem to give off that effect." The woman's says her voice gentler.
"Wait....can you read my mind? " I blush deeply feeling bad for my thoughts.
"Yes did Sunrise tell you nothing about us?"
"No...not really. I'm sorry. " I blush again but the woman only chuckles.
"Its fine dear. Anyway this is my daughter Lydia. She can also read your mind just to let you know."
I smile genuinely. I felt somewhat better knowing I finally have someone to talk to about all of this. I mean don't get me wrong Ginger is very understanding but if I told her I could control fire shed think I was on drugs.
"Hello Serina its very nice to see you again. "
"Again? "
"Yes honey again. Ill explain everything to you just follow me." She showed me too the beaded door and I followed.
