Chapter-9

*Itachi's pov*

I was startled a bit when Yukiko just ran off like that. I realized that she must have senced something so I ran after her. I caught up to her as she was slowing down.

I saw what she saw and understood what I had to do. In Madara's arm's was Mizuki's limp and unconscious body.

"MADARA!" Yukiko yelled, "GIVE MIZUKI BACK!"

Madara ignored her and looked at me, "Itachi I was starting to worry. You were supposed to meet me here 20 minutes ago."

I responded with, "Well it took longer then I thought when you left. Then I encountered Yukiko here. Then it took even longer trying to avoid her accusations."

Yukiko just stared at me. Looking like she could not believe what I was saying.

"Well we need two go." Madara said to Itachi, "Get rid of your friend there so we can go."

"What did you do to Mizuki?" Yukiko yelled at Madara.

Madara sighed, "Well if you must know I knocked her into a coma. I had hoped that she would put up more of a challenge." Madara dropped Mizuki's body and gave her a hard kick to her side.

*Yukiko's pov*

Suddenly startling them both I disappeared. It was an ability I worked hard to do without hand signs. My original Shadow Blend technique. Only the hokage knows about it since he helped me make it, and master it without hand signs. Sadly he wasn't able to do it himself.

Madara looked around for me. For he was unable to sense my chakra. He looked a little worried.

I saw that Itachi had noticed me at the corner of his eye.

I had flickered into view to cast a justu. But as quickly as I appeared, Itachi had cast a genjutsu on me.

All at once it felt like a thousand needles were stabbing into my body all at once.

I dropped down to my knees trying to fight the pain. It only intensified and I finally pasted out.

I woke up slowly; I carefully shifted my body expecting pain. When it did not come I opened my eyes.

I was in the hospital.

My door was slightly ajar. I saw a Nurse pass it and I called out to her, "Um . . . excuse me? Nurse?"

The Nurse looked into my room surprised, "Well it's good to finally see you awake."

"What do you mean, finally? I've only been asleep for a few hours. Right?" I asked confused.

""No. You've been in a coma for about 5 years now." The Nurse looked at me nervously unsure of what I would do next.

I looked around for my things, finding them on a chair in a corner.

I quickly jumped up and threw on my clothes and weapons. And before the Nurse could do anything I disappeared into the shadows using my shadow blend  technique.

I ran straight to my house. Hoping to find Naruto and the Sand siblings. What I found instead was an empty house. And everything inside had a thick layer of dust.

"What the fucking hell is going on?" I asked aloud.

Like I expected. No one answered.

I ran to the Hokage's office hoping he could answer some of my questions.
