CHAPTER 16

Liam got back after I did then everybody sat down, it was cold so Liam shut the balcony door and curtains then put the heating up a little bit higher at the radiator.
"First consequence once your down there you can't get out straight away you'll need to find the other gate to get back out or a secret hidden door way."
"Right and your point is?" MacKenzie asked
"My point is if anyone gets lost they'll be there forever with the devilish spirits, vampires and dammed shape--shifters."
"Okay, go on." MacKenzie said
"Second consequence is don't ever ever go out alone or attempt to lure something with your blood because something will come, you've been warned, third consequence --"
"Wait what is this something?" Beccaria asked
"Bloodhounds, hellhounds, most blood thirsty things -- oh not to forget vampires."
"Jeez, how big are these exactly?"
"Bugger than a us."
"Oh crap."
"Yeah, that's why I didn't want tori to go." He said
"Yeah I think your right, all on favour of tori staying raise your hand." MacKenzie said, Everyone raised there hand except becca
"You've got to be kidding me, you can't vote someone out like that, it's rude." Beccaria said offended
Ace raised an eyebrow then sighed after a long stare off "fine she can come just -- we need to keep her safe."
"Thank you!" I said
We got ready and suited up, I was dressed in black with black boots and my hair tied back in a ponytail, ma centre and because had slave clothing on that looked unappealing, poor and ripped, Ace and the boys wore the usual clothing, I looked at my necklace in the bathroom and held it to my chest then closed my eyes.
"I'll find you, I promise."i said, I heard a knock in the door
"Tori? You ready?" Ace asked
"Uh, yeah give me a second." I said wiping a tears from my eyes, then turned and opened the bathroom door, I nodded to ace and we all left, we had to get a bigger car since there was six of us but Ace was fine with that, he chose a silver seven seater, I sat in the middle on the right, mackenzie on the left, because was in the middle, in the back was Liam and in the front was Noah and ace was driving, Ace had put the radio on low, I looked out the window whilst everyone was doing their own thing.
"So where exactly is this 'gate' that's supposed to lead to the dark dimension?"
"The gate is in Manhattan."
"Do you have an clue where?"
"Yeah."
"Where?"
"I think it's in --"
"Ace! Look out!" Becca screamed
The next happened in slow motion, like time had just slowed down, ace froze at the wheel, he's face was traumatized as a car came racing towards us and collided into our car, sending us flying over through the air, flipped onto it's roof, then the next thing I knew a force covered me and held me tight, I blacked out.
When I woke back up I was on the floor safe and unharmed, Noah was covering me from the flying glass and sparks, when the sparks stopped Noah raced towards the car to help everyone out, he saw macenzie shaking and bloody trying to crawl out, the ace got out, his lip bleeding a little, he pressed the back of his hand to the cut then brought it back down and saw the blood, he then wiped the rest away with the back of his hand, he looked dazed.
"Where's...becca?"he said
"I think she's still in the car --"
He looked around the car till he was at becca's side "Becca!" He shouted then got his elbow and thrusted it into the window breaking the glass into a million shards of dimonds.
"Someone help me get her out!" He growled
I darted over, I crouched down and saw her eyes closed, her head had blood on but she still looked pretty as usual, I felt a hand restricting me from touching her, I looked up to see Aces face full of tears, it broke my heart in two to see him like that -- which was pretty strange -- I gave him a sympathetic look because I knew how it felt to be in a position like his, to see someone you loved and cared about in that kind of state..
"No! You... need...rest." he said through his gritted teeth "please...don't give me that look, I don't need sympathy."
"Ace --"
"Tori please just do it, I'm begging you." He pleaded
I sighed "fine"
I started to walk away, I was ticked off and frustrated, I strode over to a car that he stopped when I stood in front of it then I went around to the drivers side then knocked on their window, they rolled it down, I smiled and tried to influence the driver.
"What is it ma'am?" He asked
"Can you open the door please?" I asked
"Yes." He replied in a entranced voice, then He opened the door
"would you mind getting out and giving me your car?" I asked
"Sure." He said and got out
"Thank you." I said then got in,, closed the door and drove off in the car I heard Ace shouting from the distance" tori! What the hell are you doing?"
I just smirked and went on driving, normally I wouldn't do this but I was desperate.
Later that day I was driving at the average speed the humans were going at, and I kept getting lost in thought as I was driving but I had my attention on the road too, I kept thinking about how I was going to find Charlie on my own then I remembered I had a ... connection -- I guess you could call it -- with him ever since the day I woke up I kept his scent and kept the scent incase of an emerge ---ncy, then the next thing I know there's a thud on the car, I jumped then stopped the car got out and held out the sharp knife in my hand, I spun around and found Noah lying on the hood..
