Chapter five

The next day was the same as usual, went jogging, spent half the day with Chris...

It was six o'clock and I was sitting on my bed filling out a form to go to college. (Yes we were planning on going to college when we were married). All of a sudden, my door flew open. Before I could look up to see who it was, a blind fold went over my eyes, securing it in the back in a tight knot.

I stumbled, frightened that someone was kidnapping me or even worse, raping me. A short unsteady laugh escaped my lips. They tied my hands behind my back and tied my feet together. Panicing, I squirmed through their hold, but never got free.

Someone grabbed my bound feet and another person put their arms through my tied arms and lifted me up together.

Next thing I knew, they were trying to carry me down the stairs. I squirmed even more. I let out a scream, and someone put their cold and clammy hand over my mouth, muffling the scream. I heard my front door open and close as we made our way out into the chilly evening air. A car door opened and they managed to get me sitting in a chair, with a seatbelt. Several car doors slammed and someone pushed on the brakes. I tried to shake the bandana off, but it wouldn't budge.

My hands were becoming numb from being tied behind my back. I was jostled about from the bumby ride to wherever we were going. My head unfortunatly hit part of the window in a way to knock me out. Making everything go black.

Just kidding! It's not over!

I woke up to people working over me. I was in my bra and underwear. Oh my goodness. I am getting raped. I tried screaming, but something was shoved in my mouth. Maybe a sock? They noticed my screaming.

The shuffling back and forth stopped. Something smooth ran on my leg. It felt like silk. Someone sighed. They took off my blind fold and took out the gag. In front of me was my four best friends in the whole world. Sara, Noe, Mīka, and Tori. I smiled. My hands had been untied and my feet too. "What the heck are you guys doing!" I yelled at them feeling so relieved. They exchanged glances. Mika spoke, "We are trying dresses on you! You silly goose!" her bleached blonde hair shook as she held up a dress she was holding.

"Well.. If I'm the bride, and I'm blind folded, how am I supposed to help with that?" I asked. A look of confusion flashed all over their faces. I laughed and stood on my feet. I smiled, trying to ease the tension. Mika handed me the dress she was trying to put on me.

The silk glided over my skin as I tried it on. A full length mirror was hung on the wall. I turned to look in it and gasped. My brown curls fell over my shoulders. I had some mascara on which I'm guessing they put it on. My dress was plain. But it just ran straight down. The light faberic hugged at my curves nicely, but I didn't like how it looked on me. The neck was a bit too low, showing stuff that I did not want people to see. With one hand motion, I said, "Next!" I stripped off the dress and Noe handed me a dress that I liked very much.

It was short sleeved with a rounded neck. It hugged my bust and all the way down to my hips. As it got lower, it started to poof out. It got wider as it went down. The bottom was embroidered with fine stitched with white beads. It formated swirls all the way up to the top of the dress they over lapped, twisted in circles and waved down every part of the dress. It looked very good on me. I gasped as I looked closer at the dress. White thread had been sewn on to make a design of flowers in random parts of the dress. My eyes fogged up as I looked at myself in the mirror. "Whats wrong Clair? Do you not like the dress?" Noe said, as she began to lift it off. I stopped her, shaking my head back and forth. She squealed. "You do like it!!" I shook my head again. "Love it!?" I nodded. Tears trickled down my cheeks. I removed them before they could ruin the dress. Everyone around me cheered and whispered amongst themselves. I couldn't keep a smile off of my face. I had found my dress. My dress to be married in. I couldn't wait to walk done that eil and let Chris see me. We tied my long hair up and put a veil in my bun. My dress spun as a twirled in merryment, laughing with joy. I felt like a little girl getting a Barbie for Christmas. I little boy getting a Lego.

I walked out of the dress store. Carrying my new beautiful wedding dress. We girls spent the day together. Shopping for bridesmaids dresses. Looking at wedding cakes. The flowers for tables. And even test tasted foods. We had a long way to go before the wedding, so we just planned and bought samples to show my mom.

I got home around 6 pm. The same time they had kidnapped me. I walked through the door. The dress was pretty hard to fit, but managed. "Oh! Your home!" my mom said happily. She gasped and dropped the newspaper in her hands. "Is that.. Is that..." she repeated. I sighed. "Would you like to see you eighteen year old daughter in her wedding dress, that she cried over?!" I asked her excitedly. She squealed and pushed me up the stairs.
