Chapter 9- The Question

STACY'S POV

I quickly dodged the scratch to my muzzle and charged for the small grey wolf in front of me. Killing people isn't my thing, so I just hurt them bad enough to knock them out or not move. I knocked the wolf down with my two front paws and bit her in places where i knew it would hurt. Front arm that she tried to scratchv me with. Other front arm. hind leg. Other hind leg.

I looked at the whimpering wolf in front of me. It was so sad, but she brought this upon herself, trying to mess with the Spirits. I saw a shadow hovering over mine in the corner of my eye and kicked my legs in the air powerfully. I felt fur connect with my paws and heard a thud from behing me. Since I hit it in the chest, it will be knocked out, but not for long.

I looked around to see if i could help anyone, since no other wolves were dumb enough to mess with White Wolves.

I saw an 8 year old girl being dragged off by one of them. I raced to aid her and kill the beast who was trying to gain leverage by a little girl and the others. Once there, I pulled the girl away from the enormous werewolf. From the size of it, I would guess it was a man. An Alpha man, to be exact.

We started circling around each other. "Why would you think of attacking our pack, which is full of Spirits?" I asked the brown Alpha.

He chuckled a wolfy chuckle. "I'm a Redblood Pack member, actually their Alpha." Hold up a minute. He was their Alpha? I thought he was just an alpha gone rogue.

"Well, you still haven't answered my question. Why are you attacking us?" I figured I might as well figure something out before I kill him.

It took him a minute to answer. "Because we're ruthless." And then he lunged for my throat.

I dodged him and yelled,"Wait!" He did as I said. I looked him in the eye and said,"You will tell your pack to stop the attacks." I waited for his pupils to dilate. They didn't.

"Sorry, but that doesn't work onme." And with that he swung and darkness took over me.

TROY'SPOV

I looked around desperately to find my mate. "Stacy!" no answer. I then spotted her being dragged off by a giant dark brown wolf, unconcious. I teleported to the other side of the battlefield.

"Hello."I smiled mischieviously to the wolf that was slightly bigger than me. I wasted no time scratching his eye deeply and pinning him down to the ground. "How much of your pack is here?" I growled in his face.

"One fourth." He replied strenuously. What?! There had to be at least eighty wolves here.

I lookeds over my shoulder to see if Stacy was still there, and she was stirring. "Why were you trying to take my mate? How'd you do it?" When he didnt answer I pressed down harder on him. "Answer me!"

"She's your mate? That's great! Take her away, Eunice!" I looked behind me and saw a human stick a needle into Stacy. I jumped off of the large wolf and attacked who I assumed was Eunice. I heard the satisfying crack of the human's neck and fought off four other large wolves who were trying to get to Stacy.

"Sam! Loran! I need help!" I called thorugh pack link.

I heard paws colliding with the ground behind me. I looked to my left, there was Sam and Loran.

I bit a black wolf's tail and hit its face with my paw, knocking him out. I saw my beautiful mate get up shakily off the ground. When a wolf jumped on her, all I saw was red. I hurried to her side and knocked the wolf off of her. I looked over my shoulder; Sam and Loran were dealing with their own battles.

I heard a growl and snapped my head towards the sound. It was the wolf that tried to hurt my mate! I killed him in less than a second, it was so fast I forgot how.

I saw the ginourmous wolf again, but this time I wanted to catch him and keep him locked up. I called for others through mind link to meet me where I was. In about two minutes, 30 other wolves were by my side. They caught sight of the wolf and charged, wasting no time. I saw about four wolves dragging his limp body.

While we had the Redblood's Alpha, I'm sure that his pack will come for him, but we could fight them off.

About an hour after the battle, we had a territory meeting. Meaning that the pack (my pack) on the Sun Moon Pack's territory had to go to the meeting too.

The Betas, Alphas, and Deltas of both packs had to be on the stage along with their mates and children. I made my way up the stage and sat next to Stacy.

She smiled at me. "Thank you for saving me. I can't believe I couldn't hold my own ground. And I have something to tell you," Her eyes left mine as she said the last part. That made me worry a little. "But it will have to wait until I say it in the meeting." I nodded my head as Alpha Brent started speaking.

"Hello Sun Moon and Moonlight Packs. We are here today to try and put our heads together and figure out why the Redbloods attacked us, and why they took the Dr. Keem, Carter Lix, and Deacon Lix. We would like anyone who has any information or even thinksthey have any information to come up here and share. We want any information based on the Redbloods we can get. Remember, there are no wrong answers."

STACY'SPOV

I cleared my throat. "We have another problem." I heard sighs from the others. "It's about the Redbloods."

Alpha Brent stepped away from the microphone. "Do share, please."

I Took a deep breath. "As you may know, I am a Pura Lupus, Spirit, White Wolf, whatever you call it. I tried using my mind control powers on their Alpha, but he said that it doesn't work on him. I tried to make him order his pack to stop harrasing all packs. It didn't seem to have any effect on him. I don't know why, and I'm hoping one of you could explain." Ugh. Great. Now I'm begging people who don't know anything to tell me.

What did that woman inject in me?

One middle aged woman raised her hand up slowly. "Yes?" I chirped.

"Well, maybe he learned how to resist compulsion? I mean, he is the Alpha of the Redbloods." That lady had common sense, but what she didn't know is only humans can resist compulsion from wolves, and only in which they've had years of practice.

I told her that. She mumbled a quiet,"Oh."

I sighed,"Anymore suggestions?" I was pretty sure absolutely no one had a clue.

No one raised their hand, no one answered. I mumbled a quick "Thank you" and sat back down next to Troy.

"Okay, anyone have information about the Redbloods that would lead to why they attacked?" Alpha Brent asked again, walking up to the microphone.

Troy cleared his throat. "The Redbloods were attacking my pack-" He was cut off by a loud chuckle.

"Yes, Troy, we know that already." Alpha Brent faced the crowd and smiled.

"You didn't let me finish," Troy growled. "They were attacking my pack because they wanted me." Gasps were heard from the crowd.

"I have some info that might be linked with that." Loran stood up. "One day, a man told me, and I quote,' I was ordered to kill you. Your kind. The-' and then that's when he was cut off by Sam. I think it may have to do with the fact that I'm a Spirit, but I don't think so because I hadn't shifted yet. and neither did you until you found Stacy, right Troy? And I'm positive that man was a werewolf. I could smell him." Loran smiled victoriously, as if she solved the whole problem.

There was still one more question. Who did he want to kill?

Next chapter is A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!!!!!!!! I'm sorry to all you people that celebrate different holidays. I'm a Christian, and I don't know how other holidays work.
