Marks POV
I held Sasha's hand as she laid in the hospital bed breathing deeply with sweat dripping down her forehead. I grabbed a cloth and gently dabbed at her head. Her grip on my hands tightens and she lets out a moan.
"I can't do this Mark!" She groans.
"Yes you can, babe! Our daughter will be here soon! It'll be over and done with before you know it. Just keep breathing." I say, trying to calm her down.
We've been in this hospital for 5 hours and still no sign of our precious daughter. Sasha's contractions have increased and gotten more painful whilst she's been here and I hate to see her in so much pain!
Sasha soon breathes out a sigh of relief as the pain subsides. I rub her hand with my thumb and kissed her cheek. She lays her head back on the pillow.
"She's kicking..." She says.
I smile and looked down at her bump. I rubbed it gently with my hand.
"Come on baby girl. Stop kicking your mother and get your butt outta there. I want to see you!" I say.
Sasha laughs, but soon was cut short after another contraction hit. She groans and shuts her eyes tightly.
The door then opens and some nurses walked in with equipment for labour. One nurse came over to us.
"Hi, my name is Ella and I'll be helping delivering your baby today! How are you feeling, Sasha?" She asked and she rubbed her bump.
"I think...I think I'm dying!" Sasha says as she scrunched up her face as the pain hits her.
Ella laughs.
"You're not dying. Everything will be fine!" She says.
She walks down to the bottom of the bed and checks how far apart Sasha is.
"Well I'm glad to say that your 8cm. It should take roughly about an hour and a half for you to get to 10, and then you can start pushing." She says.
"WHAT?" Shouts Sasha as she leans forward.
"Wow, babe. Relax!" I say, gently pushing her back down.
"I need her out now!" Sasha says.
"I know, Hun! But she'll soon be in your arms." Ella says.
I kissed Sasha's forehead.
"She'll be here soon, babe. Not long now and we can finally give her cuddles after waiting 9 months to." I whispered to her.
She smiles and starts to relax.1 Hour and 25 minutes later...
"Ok Sasha. You're doing really well! Just keep pushing for me!" Ella says.
Sasha starts to push and moans.
"There we go! I can see the head. One more big push and she'll be out!" Say Ella.
Sasha shakes her head and leans back.
"No! I can't do it! It hurts so bad!" She says with tears rolling down her face.
"Yes you can!" I say. "Our little girl wants to come out and meet us! She's getting excited, just like you were when you found out you was pregnant! She's impatient like you!"
Sasha laughs a little.
"You can do it, Sasha!" Ella says.
Sasha nods and breathes in deeply and uses the last of her strength to push. After a few seconds, a cry was heard in the room. Sasha leans back and does a big sigh of relief. I began to cry. My little girl was finally here!
I turned to Sasha.
"You did it babe!" I say kissing her lips.
I looked back at the nurses to see them wrapping my daughter up in a pink blanket. Ella then comes over and placed her on Sasha's chest so she can feed. I look at her. She was beautiful!
"Hello." I say, stroking her head.
She had her eyes open and she had Sasha's blue eyes.
"You're such a beauty!" Sasha says.
Our little girl lets out a small cry.
"There, there sweetie! Mummy's got you." Sasha says, patting her back.
I wiped away my tears and smiled at them. Sasha looks up at me.
"Do you want to hold her?" She asked.
"Well...um, I guess..." I said, struggling to speak.
"Here you go." She says and she slowly passes her to me. I gently wrapped my arms around her tiny body and rocked her. I looked down at her to see her already staring back at me. I smiled.
"Hey baby girl! You finally showed up. What took you so long, eh? I bet you was nice and cosy and didn't want to leave. Haha! Well, you're gonna be nice and cosy with me and Mummy around. We love you so much!" I say, kissing her little nose.
"What should we call her?" Sasha asked.
I sat on the side of the bed and looked at her.
"I want to name her something unique!" I say.
Sasha nods.
"I've always like names beginning with A." She says.
We sat there, calling out names, but none of them seemed unique.
"Ar..." I begin to say.
"Zay..." Sasha then says.
"Lea..." I finish off.
We looked at each other and smiled.
"Azaylea?" I say.
Sasha nods.
"Azaylea...?" I say.
"Fleur Fischbach!" Sasha says.
I smile and we kiss.
"Welcome to the family, Azaylea Fleur Fischbach." I say, looking down at our daughter who yawns and closes her eyes.
"How the heck is she tired? I did all the work. All she had to do is relax..." Says Sasha. So this is the start of this story. You're all probably thinking, "hold up...where's Amy?
