Surprise

Azie's POV
Mommy! She was standing right there! Her long wavy hair, her bright blue eyes that gleaned as she looks at me. She smiles and holds out her arms to me. I smile and ran into them. She wraps her arms around MY whilst I snuggled into her chest. She kisses my head and holds me close.
"I've missed you!" I say.
"I've missed you too, baby girl!" She says.
"Why did you have to go?" I asked her.
She sighs.
"Sometimes, people have to go. It's part of life. You're just too young to understand why I had to leave so early." She says.
"Daddy's got a new girlfriend. Her name is Amy." I say.
Mummy nods.
"I've heard. She seems really nice." She says.
"She is. She has a son called Kayden and he's the best!" I say.
Mummy laughs and strokes my hair. I looked at her with a shocked face.
"Daddy needs to see you!" I say excitedly and jumped from her lap.
"Azie, baby no." She says and she tries to stop me.
I ran into the living room and saw daddy sitting on the couch on his phone. He looks at me.
"What's up, baby?" He asks me.
"Daddy! Mummy's here!" I say.
He stares at me.
"Baby...Mummy's not here." He says.
"No! She is! She's in the hallway! I've just seen and talked to her! Come and see her!" I say.
He sighs and stands up and follows me into the hallway. Mommy was standing there. I pointed to her.
"See daddy! There she is!" I say.
Daddy looks at where I was pointing.
"Azie...there's nobody there." He says.
I looked up at him then back at mommy.
"Daddy! Don't be silly! She's right there!" I say.
Daddy crouches down at moves me so that I'm facing him.
"Azie, stop. Mommy's not there. Stop with the silliness." He says.
My smile drops. I look back at mommy and she shakes her head. Daddy stands back up and walks into the kitchen. I look at mummy.
"Why can't he see you?" I asked her.
She sighs.
"He doesn't have the power that you have to see me." She says.
"But daddy needs to see you!" I say.
"I know baby. But not right now." She says.
"Azie?" I hear from the kitchen.
"Go baby." Mommy says.
I nod and ran into the kitchen. Daddy, Amy and Kayden were all sat at the table. Daddy and Amy were holding hands.
"Azie...me and Amy have something to tell you and Kayden." He says.
I sat beside Kayden and looked at them both. Amy looks at daddy and he smiles at her.
"Well...this is a surprise for you both! Amy...would you like to tell them?" He asked her.
"I'm pregnant!" Amy says.
"WHAT!" Kayden shouts.
What the heck is going on here?
"You're...you're having a baby?" Kayden asked.
Amy nods. He shakes his head.
"No...you can't be!" He says.
Amy's smile drops.
"Azie? Are you happy?" Daddy asked me.
"Pregnant? What does that mean?" I asked.
Amy and Mark giggle.
"It means there's a baby on the way. There's a baby inside Amy's tummy! You're gonna be a big sister!" Daddy says.
Ohhh...
"Are you gonna be the baby's daddy?" I asked.
Daddy nods.
"But...you're my daddy." I say sadly.
"Awhh baby girl! You'll always be my baby girl no matter what." He says.
I know what a new baby means. Screaming, crying. I hated that. Tears began to fill my eyes.
"Azie?" Daddy says.
Kayden wraps his arms around me and pulls me to his chest.
"Awh, Azie! Don't cry." Amy says.
"I don't want a baby in the house." I say.
Daddy and Amy look at each other. I escape Kayden's grip and run into the backyard and into my treehouse.

I didn't want another baby to take away my daddy! He's my daddy!
Kayden wasn't happy either. I heard him shouting at Amy for ruining mine and his life. He didn't want a baby in the house.

We have a BIG problem here...
