The Truth

Azaylea's POV
What? Mummy isn't coming back? Amy...my new mother? No...NO!

I stare at daddy with tears in my blue eyes. The whole room was silent apart from daddy's heavy breathing which soon goes back to normal and his muscles relax after what had come out of his mouth. His brown eyes go soft and now tears were appearing in his eyes too
"Az...Azie...I didn't me-"
That's all he said before I ran up the stairs crying. Signe follows me. Daddy tries to but Jack stops him.
"You've done enough Mark!" He says and follows Signe.
Star follows too, leaving Mark and Amy alone together. Mark turns to her.

Mark's POV
"Amy, I-"
"No Mark! Don't talk." She says, raising her hand at me.
"How could you?" She asks.
I stare at her.
"You can't say things like that to a 3 year old, Mark! It's not right! She doesn't understand the way you do about what happened to Sasha. She's only little. You basically destroyed her and you're the only person she's got left!" She says with anger in her eyes.
I shake my head.
"Amy...I just got mad. I thought I was gonna loose her like I lost Sasha and I couldn't let the happen! She's my little girl! I can't loose her!" I say.
"But saying things like that to her won't help!" She says back.
I stood there in silence. She shakes her head and grabs her coat from the chair.
"Where're you going?" I ask.
"We need a break, Mark! You need to step up your game and be a father to Azie. Because right now...I don't think Sasha would be pleased with what you have done to her!" Amy says, and walks out the kitchen.

Jack's POV
I was at the bottom of the stairs when I see Amy walk towards the front door. I held out my arm to stop her.
"Hey! What's up?" I ask.
She bites her lip and I noticed she had tears in her eyes.
"Hey! Don't cry!" I say and pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back.
"It's all my fault! I shouldn't of come here!" She muffles against my chest.
"No...no! Don't be silly! None of this is your fault!" I say.
We release from the hug.
"I just need a break from here. I don't know when I'll be back." She says.
I nod. She smiles a little and walks out the door. I sigh and went upstairs to see what was going on.

Azaylea's POV
I ran into my room and slammed the door and crouched into a ball on the floor. My crying became harder.
"Mummy!" I say over and over again.
I hear a knock at my door but I ignored it.
"Azie? Come on, sweetie! Open the door." I hear Signe say.
But I stayed on the floor. My door opens and Signe sees me and runs over to me, picking me up and rubbing my back.
"Mummy!" I say again.
"I know, baby! I know." Signe says, kissing my cheek.
She rocks me back and forth trying to get me to calm down. By now, her t-shirt was soaked with my tears. But she didn't mind. All she wanted is for me to be happy again. She kept giving me kisses and tightens her grip on me. I calm down a little and snuggle into her. Her warmth reminded me of mummy. Her smell reminded me of mummy. The way she hums reminds me of mummy. Everything about Signe reminded me of her. Jack the comes into the room and strokes my cheek.
"Mummy..." I whisper.
"I know...you miss her." Jack says, kissing my head.
Signe and Jack look at each other for a few seconds before returning their gaze back to me as I fully calmed down and just laid my head on Signe's chest. That's when Star comes in with something behind her back. We all looked down at her. She then pulls out my stuffed bunny. Signe crouched down to her size and she gives it to me. I smile a little and snuggle up to it. Jack reaches down and strokes Star's hair. I lift my head up so I'm facing Signe. She smiles and kisses my nose. I giggle.
"Mummy not coming home?" I ask.
Signe sighs softly and shakes her head.
"You want to know why?" Jack says.
I nod. He comes over to me and takes me in his arms.
"Well...mummy is now living in a castle in the sky!" He says.
I look up. Jack smiles.
"And she's looking down on you. She's by your side all the time. Even though you can't see her, she can see you! She cuddles up to you every night and is by your side throughout the day." He says.
I nod.
"And one day...you'll see her again!" Star says.
Jack and Signe look at her and smile.
"That's right! When your are much older, you'll understand more about why mummy went." Jack says.
I nod again and lay my head on his chest. He cuddles me and strokes my hair.
"Now why don't you two play while we go talk to daddy?" Jack says.
I nod and he places me down next to Star. They both smile and walk out the room. I sit down on the floor and Star sits across from me.
"Star?" I ask.
"Yep?" She says.
"Is Amy my new mummy?" I ask.
She shakes her.
"No. Your mummy is with you right now. She's sitting by your side." She says.
I gasp and look to both of my sides. Star smiles.
"But remember! You can't see her! She's invisible!" She says.
I giggle.
"She invisible like..." she says and covers her eyes for a few seconds before snapping them open.
"You are!" She continues.
She gasped.
"Oh my good granola! Where did Azie go?"
I giggle softly.
"That's weird! She was right in front of me! Maybe she's invisible like her mummy is!" She says and stands up.
She begins to slowly creep around the room.
"Where did Azie go?" She says.
I stand up and go behind her.
"BOO!" I shout and she screams and turns around.
"There you are Azie! Jee weez! I'd thought you ran away!" She says.
"I was invisible like mummy!" I say.
"Really? Wow! That's incredible! What did you two do?" She asked.
"She showed my castle in the sky! It's made out of white candy floss!" I say.
She gasped.
"White candy floss?" She says.
I nod my head and giggle.

Man! Star is the best cousin ever!!

Hey guys! Bet you were shocked with this update! Well, I'm on a two day break from pantomime! Everything is going excellent. I absolutely love doing it. Just 6 more to go! Here are some pictures from the pantomime. I will upload more.
