After the snowball fight that lasted several hours, the lycans returned to the main terrace to settle in for the night. In the center of the densite a fire was lit, and Lycans of all ages settled around it on the circle of warm ground cleared of snow to eat, rest, and converse with friends about the day's events.
Lamaar gnawed noisily on an elk bone as he lied sprawled across warm soil, while lycan cubs and their mothers enjoyed the fire's warming glow. Mortem lied with Stellar and Tama huddled up near him on the other side of the fire opposite Lunar, who was curled comfortably in the curve of Khufu's body as he lied half asleep. While Tama talked him to hell and back, Mortem used every ounce of self-control he could muster to stop his fur from prickling at the sight of the tawny pelted male.
Tama smoothed down a bit of fur on Mortem's back. "Sire.. is something wrong?" She asked softly.
"I'm just a little irritated.." He scowled, still glaring in Khufu's direction.
"Want to talk about it?" Tama asked politely tapping her tail on the ground.
Mortem huffed. "No." He replied curtly, desperate to make her stop talking. "But, maybe there's someway you can help.." He said staring at Tama for three long seconds before glancing down at his underside.
"Hint taken sir." She said blushing at him profusely.
Mortem flashed a fake smile. "Good girl." He said watching Tama adjust herself to his underside. With that problem taken care of, Mortem turned his attention back to Lunar, her eyes closed in a peaceful rest. He suppressed a growl, glaring at her and Khufu as well.
He wasn't sure what emotion he felt as he stared at the female, before his gaze settled on Khufu. His wealthy family background as a human resulted in him growing up with a silver spoon in his mouth. Seeing this fine-tuned specimen of a bitch wrapped snugly in the arms of this spoiled little twixter who dared to call himself a Lycan generated an awkward mixture of anger and jealousy that festered at the back of Mortem's mind so badly, he couldn't even feel Tama going down on him with all her might.
However, he eventually shook the feeling way. How silly it was, he thought. Getting all fired up over a female that wasn't his. Especially one he'd just scolded a few hours ago. Mortem huffed and bent his ears backwards, becoming irritated once more as he remembered exactly who the hell he was. Mortem the King of Lycans, the owner of a harem of 20+ lycanesses; the beast that legends told about.
Mortem smiled at the thought. "That's enough Tama." He said, smiling at female. "You've gotten better." He said giving her a gentle pat on the head before crawling into his den to sleep for the night. Tama watched him leave, licking her jaws as she proceeded to get some rest herself. "The lycan king, is back." She smiled, happy to have gotten some attention from the male for the first time in what, by Mortem's habit, was a while.
Lunar opened an eye and glanced over at Khufu. "Hey.." She said nuzzling him. "Wake up."
Khufu yawned softly, blinking his eyes. "Yeah hun, what's up..."
Lunar rubbed her body amorously against his before walking into the dark calmness of the large den she and Khufu shared with four others. She hinted him to follow with a wink, before the others decided to come to bed early as well. Khufu staggered into the den after her, drunk with sleepiness. Lunar sprawled out on the caribou pelt covering ground, blowing out a makeshift candle consisting of a dry twig and a lump of elk fat in a stone bowl on the den floor. The male stared at her with half closed eyes and she subtly curled her tail away from her body, and simply awaited Khufu's move.
Needless to say that Lunar was less than happy when she had the wind knocked out of her by Khufu's body as it collapsed across hers. She snarled crawling out from under the sleeping male. Lunar rolled her eyes with a frustrated huff. Eventually she gripped him just underneath his arms and lied on her back, pulling him on top of her. Khufu whined sleepily as he settled his head on Lunar's soft and perky chest.
