"Is there a problem?" He said pulling his muzzle out of the grip of Daichii's paw.

Daichii looked over her shoulder briefly. "Yes. A big one." She whispered quickly, before pushing him out o the medicine den. "We'll discuss it later. Until then, try not to cause any trouble with Mortem, alright?"

Khufu rolled his eyes, as he got up to leave. "That all depends on him." He snarled.

"I know it does. But, you have to realize that he's larger and stronger than you are. Watch yourself." Diachii scowled, noticing a gathering of harem females in the center of the densite. "Let Lunar get her sleep, she'll need it for her procedure tomorrow evening."

Lunar's left ear flicked at the word 'procedure', but she remained silent until Khufu exited the den.

Khufu nodded. "Alright." The male said crawling out of the den and standing up on two paws once outside the den.

"What procedure?" She asked, wincing as she turned to face Daichii.

"Well, to get that bullet out of your rib cage of course." She said as Lunar sat up on the Bison pelt. Lunar poked at the awkward bead underneath her skin and whined shrilly. Not from the pain of the bullet itself, but from the utter shock she received as Daichii peevishly slapped her paw away from her side.

"Don't touch it!" She hissed, turning away from Lunar and digging through some herbs for the fruit Lunar was playing with earlier. "Idiot." She added inaudibly with a roll of her eyes.

Lunar winced, rubbing her slapped paw. "T-That's okay, it can stay." She whined backing away from Daichii until her back touched the cold wall of the den. "I'll get use to it."

"That's a lead bullet, Lunar." Daichii stated finding the fruit. "The pain of removing it won't ever compare to the damage leaving it there will cause." She ended the statement in a cold manner, using her claws to slice the strange fruit into smaller pieces.

Lunar dropped shoulders, her ears hanging low as she watch Daichii plop the fruit chunks into a stone bowl and crush into a mushy sauce.

Daichii sighed at Lunar, tossing a dash of Cinnamon into the fruit sauce. "I've been doing this for years Lunar. I know what I'm doing." The elder lycaness sighed, blowing a red eagle feather out of her face. "It'll be over before you know it." Daichii added with an understanding smile as she held the bowl out to Lunar. "Fruit sauce?"

Lunar lifted her fallen ears just a small bit. "Yes please." She smiled faintly and clutched the bowl in her paws, wearily extending her tongue toward the mush. Once it had made contact, she withdrew her tongue with a smacking sound, as a dog would with peanut butter.

It was.. Incredible! The fruit had a taste like a mixture of mango, peach and a bit of blackberry. The sour aftertaste would take some getting used to, but the taste of the fruity mush as a whole was enjoyable.

For the next fifteen minutes Daichii watched with a knowing smirk as Lunar forced herself to remain awake as she attempted to lick the remaining globs of sauce out of the bottom of the bowl while her eyelids suddenly became inexplicably heavy and she lost the feeling in her cheeks.

She shook her head to try and shake away the approaching darkness and nearly fell backwards onto her back. "Daa... Daich--" She stumbled to all four paws unable to balance as standing up became more and more difficult as seconds passed. "What d-did you..." Lunar trailed off, her vision distorted and glazed with all sorts of strange colors. "What did you do to me?" She asked, her speech slurred and nearly impossible to understand.

Daichii grinned and watched as Lunar snapped her jaws at non-existent insects that as far as Lunar was concerned, were flying around her face. "You'll see in a minute." She chuckled, as Lunar growled, fighting the sensation as best she could. In a last valiant effort she clumsily flounced toward the den's exit for what appeared to be two steps, before she flopped onto her back with a mighty thud.
