Once Tris was well rested, warm and patched up, she started the day with wandering around the castle. It was huge, but in comparison to any other castle, ones meant for kings and such, it was tiny.

Also unlike a traditional castle, it was very cold and bare. There were no paintings, no artifacts and ancient pieces to litter the halls and rooms. What she saw was what she got.

She noticed that Four didn't eat much, just dinner and she decided to change that by cooking for him, as a favor for allowing her to stay.

Four found it strange to wake up and smell someone baking, and his heart swelled seeing Tris infront of the stove with an apron and her hair tied in a knot.

"Good morning," he cleared his throat, shuffling closer to her nervously, picking at the ends of his gloves.

"Good morning," she gave him such a sweet smile that his heart thawed. "I made you muffins, hope you don't mind."

On a normal day he'd wake up and find a spot to sit and write. It had been years since he had last woken up from someone cooking just for him.

"I used the blueberries that you had frozen in your chest, hope you don't mind that either."

"No, make your self at home."

"Does someone bring you food?" she questioned curiously, rinsing the last pan and bending over to peek at her muffins, allowing him to have a glimpse of her beautiful bottom.

"Yes, a lady named Tori Wu, every two weeks. I also grow a lot of stuff in my garden too."

She gives gasp, scolding him like a child, "You can't possibly survive on a lady's bag worth of food for two weeks, and you have muscles! What are you doing to yourself?" She seemed genuinely concerned and he turned away with a cough to cover his laugh.

"You aren't my mother. I take care of myself just fine."

"Well, I suppose it's none of my business anyway."

She spent the rest of the day by herself, just wandering the halls until she found something interesting that would occupy her for a few minutes before she moved on.

Four found her too addictive, found her energy to positive. He hid himself away from her, allowing himself to lock his bedroom door and take off his gloves.
Tris didn't even know him, but she had shown more concern then he'd ever seen in his life. He needed to make sure he told Tori to started bringing more things, and perhaps some clothes.

The winter had just started, so he had just three months with his Duckling, and oddly enough something in him made him promise not to let her go.

He jumped around startled when he heard a cute gasp, "I don't think I've ever seen your hands without gloves," she giggled, walking closer to where he was sitting on a bench out in the garden. It was freezing, and he worried for her health for she came out in nothing but a shawl.

He quickly his his hands in his pockets, blowing out some nervous air as he glanced around frantically for his gloves.

"I would think now would be the best time to actually wear gloves," she smiled, plopping down beside him.

"M-My hands get hot," he stuttered, cursing himself for being so foolish. "I mean cold."

She frowned, furrowing her brows and tracing the stone path with her eyes. "You're making no sense," she whispered, quiet for once. "May I see your hands?"

"It's none of your concern," he snapped.

"I just wanted-" she whispered, getting cut off by his anger.

"Be the least bit grateful and respect my privacy, Beatrice. You're only staying here until the weather gets better anyway."

"I'm sorry," she squeaked, scurrying inside and stood silently. She was a talker, and curious. She couldn't help how she was, and she really meant no harm. It was obvious to her that she wasn't wanted and she did not want to be a burden.

She wrapped the shawl tighter around her shoulders, running upstairs to grab her cloak and a blanket before walking out the door. She knew she'd be miserable whichever route she went, and the one with the irritable, handsome man was the one she truly wanted to go. However, she understood when she wasn't liked.
