Daisy's P.O.V
Amy giggled, "that's so cool" she hugged me. "Yeah, but we aren't really wanting to publicly put it out there" I twiddled my thumbs. She put her hand on shoulder, "your secrets safe with me" she hugged me quickly. "I think he's just afraid of what everyone will say" "What do you mean?" "The ruthless daring Shadow the hedgehog has a girlfriend? He has a soft spot? Not so ruthless" I put my head in my palm. "Oh I see, he wants to uphold his reputation" I nodded my head. "I'm fine with that, I don't care if everyone knows but if he wants it to be a secret then so be it" "are you really okay with it?" I slid down against the wall, "I don't know.." She crouched next to me. "Don't worry, I'm sure things will work out" she petted my head and held me. "Why do you think so?" "Because I'm supposed to see the bright side of things and if you were meant to be together then it would happen" I looked up at her. "You seem like a good friend Amy" she smiled at me then pulled me up. "Go talk to him" "Okay" I marched into his room, but when I got in there I began to feel nervous. "S- shadow" "yeah?" He looked up at me. "Um, about us being together..." "what?" He got a bit of concern in his eyes. "I want us to be together but what's so wrong with people knowing?" He looked away, "people" "come on, why does it matter!" "Becuase I don't want people saying things" "That shouldn't matter though" "I don't want things to be different just because your with me" "it won't be, who cares what people think!" "I don't want you to be in danger because of me!" We stopped talking and just looked at each other. "Shadow, is this about Maria..?" "No, it's about me and you!" I shook my head. "Tell me! I don't want you to be hung down by the past" he looked down. "It's okay, it wasn't your fault-" "people tell me that but it is!" I put my hands on his shoulders. "You want to know the truth? The whole story..." I nodded my head. "I was made on the A.R.K., a space craft in space, where Gerald Robotnik and Maria Robotnik sort of lived. Gerald was desperate to make a cure for Maria, she had a disease, so he made a 'Cure' or project Shadow. I was infused with the cure inside me and helped her. Then the government down below deemed me dangerous and came up for a 'visit'. Maria was trying to get me to leave in a capsule, she shoved me in and pulled the lever. Before she could the guard came in and shot her. She died trying to save me! It's my fault that she risked her life!" He let his head fall. I comforted him, I put his head in my lap. "Its not, she didn't have to risk her life. She could've let you be taken, but she risked her life that you may keep yours" I lifted his head to my eye level. "She loved you as much as I do and I would do the same" he hugged me. "I know I need to move on" "No, hold on. Don't let it control your life though" he grabbed my hand and took me into the living room area where mostly everyone was. "Daisy, your the most charming, stand-up, beautiful girl I know" "Shadow, your the most daring, stubborn, kind-hearted hedgehog I know" he pulled me in and we kissed. Peach and Amy were smiling ear to ear. They both wiped a tear form there eye. I closed my eyes. I felt the world stop, I could go on forever. We parted, if it wasn't for needing to breath. "Wooh, finally!" A bunch of those were tossed around. All of our friends were happy for us. We stood there hand in hand smiling at each other. Now that's a happily ever after ending...

"Augh!" I collapsed on the floor clenching my chest. I laid on the floor, everything became a blur. I heard rushing feet and gasps until my vision went black. I passed out.
Shadow's P.O.V.
I picked her up, Tails said he could help her. I rushed her to Tails lab. He ran diagnosis and scans. "She has a very deadly disease" "what is it?" "Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome...?" I dropped to my knees. "What's wrong Shadow" Peach crouched next to me. "No..." I stood up. "It's an incurable disease" "what?" Peach began to tear up. "I can save her" "how? You said yourself it was incurable" "back a long time ago a girl had the same disease... I hold the cure" I turned to Tails. I walked up to him, "do what you have to do" he nodded and pulled out a machine. He ran some scans on me to find out where the cure was exactly. He turned to me, "it's in your blood" "then extract it and save her" he looked down. "She'll need too much, it takes a lot of blood since its so spread out" "do it!" "No, you can't" Peach stood forward. "Do you want your friend or not?!" I walked over to Tails. "Do it." He nodded and began the extraction. He hooked up a system to Daisy and one to me. It began extracting blood, it was a purple-ish colored. (Yeah, I'm just making it purple) it went out and into a machine. It came out the other side as a green substance. It went into Daisy. It was awhile before it was done. I pulled it out after he said it was done. I made my way over to Daisy, I lost feeling in one of my arms. I could barely walk. She moved and slightly opened her eyes. "Shadow?" "It's alright Diasy, your cured" "What?" She sat up and looked around. "Shadow wh-" I collapsed. "Shadow!" "She would risk her life for me and I will do the same" "Shadow no!" I closed my eyes as my vision went. "Shadow!" My head hurt badly and all I could hear were muffles. "Don't leave me, I love you!" Was the last thing I heard as everything went black.
