Daisy's P.O.V.
I fluttered my eyes open. I cuddled up next to the thing next to me instinctively. I looked at what I was holding, I froze. I was hugging a sleeping Shadow. I slowly pulled my arm from him. He moved a bit but didn't wake up. I sighed slightly and sat there. I stretched my arms up in the air. I put my arms down, my hand fell on his chest. I looked over as he shifted and opened his eyes. I shook him with the hand that was on his chest, "good morning" he sat up. I looked us both up and down, still in our clothes. "Last night you fell asleep on me so I had to carry you back. When I tried to put you down your arm still held on to me" "I pulled you down with me and you fell asleep next to me as my teddy bear?" He looked off in the distance. "You don't have to explain yourself, I can read the situation" I kissed his cheek. "Well" he got up, I grabbed his hand and pulled him back down. I put my arm over his chest to prevent him from leaving. "Stay. Please." He looked at me and finally looked at the ceiling and sighed. "So, what a day yesterday huh?" "Yeah...." "I swear to God if you tell me to 'Stay here' I'll punch you in the gut" he luaghed a little. I smiled, "you were in a position I never would want you to be in again" I turned on my side and faced him. "That's sweet" he still stared at the roof and I could see an evident blush. I leaned over and kissed his cheek again but a little longer. "Don't change, stay the way you are. I love you for who you are" "I could say the same" I stared at the ceiling and held out my hand. "Friends" I gave him a wink. "Friends" he winked in return. I luaghed, "what?" "You luagh and wink in one day? That's some real good progress" "progress?" "You know this whole time I've been trying to open you up" "oh really?" "Yeah. I tried to-"..... we continued talking for about an hour ti'll getting up. I got up and walked out the door after done talking, he followed close behind. We both stepped out sneakily. "Good morning!" Sonic came by. I stood straight up and sheepishly smiled. "Yeah, g- good morning" he chuckled while walking away. I turned to Shadow and he continued walking. We walked down to the kitchen. "Morning" Peach smiled and looked at me. I went over to her, "hmm" "what?" I stood beside her. I tried to grab a bacon from the paper towel, she smacked my hand. "You and Shadow?" "Me and Shadow, that's not a thing" "uh-huh" she took the cooking glove off her hands. "What if it was" "then good for you" she giggled. "Oh, Peach" "What, it's about time you got a guy" "were not exactly together like publically boyfriend and girlfriend" "obviously" "I mean like we're not in love, love. We just like each other and we'd like to keep it kind of secret" "I got it girl, I can keep a secret" she winked. I gulped as something inside told me that she would say something anyways. I walked over to the table, "mmm, bacon and biscuits" "and eggs" Amy placed the eggs on the table in front of me. "I never really cared for eggs" "me neither" we both luaghed. (That was an Eggman joke if you didn't catch on) I stared across the table at Shadow. He sort of let out a little smile. I continued eating and thinking about our situation. We all finished eating and kind of went back to our rooms and did whatever. Well, I went to Shadow's room. I sat on his bed, he stood in the doorway. "What are you doing" "sitting on a comfy bed" I bounced up and down a little. He smiled and sat down next to me. He put his arm around my waist, "can you keep a secret?" "Huh?" "I really like you" "I really like you too" he turned me to face him. "No. I- I love you" I stared at him. I looked into his garnet eyes, "I- I- " he pulled me in. He crashed his lips against mine. We stayed like this for awhile, we pulled away. "I love you too" I smiled at him with a little tear in my eye. We both turned our heads to see Silver in the doorway. "Can you keep a secret?" I asked him, Shadow luaghed a little. "Okay love birds" "good, if you refused I would've had to strangle you" Silver nervously luaghed. "You wouldn't have done that if I got to him first" "I don't think so" he tackled me on the bed. "Your too weak" I grabbed his arm and reversed our position. I was now on top of him, "your too slow" he smirked at me. "That's so cute" Silver cut in, "it's kinda funny that your fighting over who would choke me first" "wanna test it out?" He shook his hands and walked out of the room. We laughed together and laid on the bed. "I'm glad we know" "how we love each other?" "Yeah" we laid there staring at the ceiling. I snuggled up to him and he put his head over mine. I got up and got ready to walk out, "where are you going?" "Just to walk around" I walked out. I rounded a corner and rushed out of ear range. I squeeled and jumped up and down. "Eeh!" I clasped my hands over my mouth. "What are you so excited about?" I turned around to see Amy. I gasped, "um.." "what?" "Can you keep a secret?" I put my hands behind my back and cheekily smiled.
