Daisy's P.O.V.

We were all training for the Olympics in the gym. "Pass me that baton dear" I handed Peach the stick with the ribbon and scoffed. The little sweety, dear, and honey she adds to her sentences humor me. She practiced on her rythmitic ribbon. I looked over at Shadow, he was sitting there unamised while Sonic and Silver were standing around him luaghing and talking. I grabbed a hula hoop and went to the floor. I closed my eyes and thought of a rythym. I nodded, opened my eyes and started moving. I played with the hula hoop, twirling it and tossing it up. I spun around with it and rolled on the floor and caught it. I finished with a final pose. "Not bad" "excuse me? This takes a lot of effort" I panted. "Yea" "you wanna try?" I held out the hula hoop. "At a girls sport?" I glared at him. "No, an Olympic event" I shoved the hula hoop at him. He grabbed the hula hoop from me and made his way to the floor. He began and did a bunch of tossing and twirling but he did them in different order and at a quicker pace. He rolled it around the back of his head on his arms and tossed it up. He did some moves on the floor and caught it. He flung it forward and posed as it came back and he stopped it with his foot and it leaned against him. "Good?" "Good enough" I grabbed the hula hoop and threw it in the basket where the rest of them were. "Girls sport?" I walked up to Peach. She laughed at me, "Good enough?" I smiled and shook my head. "Hey! Yeah you! Me. You. Ice rink. Now!" I walked over to the ice rink. He walked over, "it's about time your slow ass made it here" he held his hand with a pair of ice skates in them. I grabbed them and put them on. "So what's up with the tuff act?" We entered the rink. He started with a move and I followed up with a retaliation. "What 'Tuff' act?" "Y'know, 'I don't enjoy anyone's company' and your kind of rude" "you've only known me for one day lady" we danced around each other on the ice. "Heheh, ya but you got that 'bad boy don't care' vibe" "vibe?" He came and spun me. "Yeah" he turned me around, my back up against his chest. "Yeah and what if I am?" I smiled and pushed him and spun in circles myself. "What? A bad boy who doesn't care?" He nodded. "Then I would say... take me now!" I pretendingly fainted next to him. He put his arm out and I fell on it. I laughed so hard my eyes were closed. "Well your bubbly" "thank you" he put me back up. "Ummm, thanks for catching me so I didn't fall like a fool" "aw, I should've let you drop" I luaghed. He walked away and continued doing other practices. My smile dropped to a nuteral look. I stood there in the middle of the rink, just when I thought I was getting him to open up...

~Back at the castle~

I collapsed on the couch in Peach's room. "Tired?" "Uuggghhh" I groaned into the pillow. "What was that whole thing with Shadow?" "I don't know ask him, he knows so much" she put her hand over her mouth. "Oh Daisy" she patted my head and walked to her bed and laid down. I laid there staring at the ceiling, I couldn't sleep. "Hey Peach" "yea..." She groggily answered. "What room is Shadow in?" "Um.. room... 5? I believe" "cool, thanks!" I popped up and rushed out. I walked down the dim hallways. I squinted my eyes to look at the numbers above the doors. They numbered them so they could keep track of who was staying in the castle. I stopped in front of room 5, I slowly opened the door not to make any noise. I looked around the room, I forgot that two people stayed in each room. I walked up to one bed and looked around. Hmm, who could this be? I picked up these gloves with patterns on them. I tried to think of who had those gloves... Oh, it's Silver! I put the gloves back and walked over to the other bed. It was dark and hard but it looked like the bed was empty. I cautiously put my hand out to feel the covers. I lightly poked them, huh nothing. I whisked my head around and then quietly crept out the door. I walked around the castle for awhile, until I heard something. I heard someone talking, "maybe I should've done all those nice things, said I love you, tucked you in and give you kisses... I never thought to say anything of appreciation. I never did anything nice for you yet you showed me kindness... even though you knew I was destined for destruction" I could feel my eyes tearing up. This was like poetry, sad poetry. I didn't know who it was too, but it still got me. I sniffled up a sob, my mistake. He stopped and whisked around, "who's there?" I wiped my face of my pity tears. "I know your there, come out" I huffed in some air and walked out from behind the wall I had been hiding behind. "Hey..." He turned back around. "Go back to bed" "wh- excuse me, are you my mother. No" I walked up to him and leaned against the railing on the balcony. He was leaned forward on it with his arms crossed. "God your sassy" "and spunky" I winked and snapped a gun formed finger. He huffed, "why are you up so late?" "Why are you up so late?" I crossed my arms and huffed, mimicking him. "Can't sleep" "who were talking too?" "No one" he walked away from the balcony and went back to his room. I looked up at the night sky filled with stars. Talking to stars?
