Double Trouble

"Jokes about unemployed people are not funny. They just don't work." Kaoru comments, grinning at the sound of your laughter. He gives a smug look to Hikaru who only rolls his eyes before looking over towards you. 

"Pfft, that wasn't that good." Hikaru comments before thinking of a joke. "Why did the octopus blush? He'd just seen the bottom of the ocean!" Hikaru says, causing you to laugh even more. 

"These are all so stupid." You mutter, leaning back into your chair. Your teacher is late, which is fantastic since it gives everyone the chance to talk. Haruhi had to go to an appointment so that's why she wasn't in here, suffering like you are. 

"How is the whole performing business going, (Y/N)?" Kaoru soon questions, it seems as though his attention never left you though you didn't seem to take much notice. Hikaru has though, it sure does make him mad. 

"It's going quite well, I have a few more performances coming up soon, which I am excited for." You answer with a small smile. 

"Are you going to invite us this time?" Hikaru asks as he begins to look at you as well. 

You roll your eyes playfully, "Yes."

"Why didn't you want us to watch your first performance? Well, first performance outside of school." Kaoru questions, placing his head in his palm as he leans on the desk. 

You shrug slightly, "I don't know..." 

"Come on, there has to be a reason." Hikaru comments, edging you on so that you will admit why you didn't want the club there. 

"Are you sure you two want to know?" You ask, knowing that they will probably regret asking anyway. 

"Yes!" Both of the twins say at the same time. Oh, times like these you are glad that the teacher isn't here. Once again. Hikaru and Kaoru lean towards you, indicating that they really want to know. 

"Well if you insist." You drag on, looking away from the twins as you begin to feel rather flustered. "I actually don't why I didn't want the club to be there. You see, I was on my period. I get really bad mood swings." You answer honestly, they wanted the truth and they got it. 

You watch as the colour drain from the twin's beautiful faces, "Oh." They both say in unison before their cheeks begin heat up once your words finally sink in.  

"See why I was hesitant to tell you guys?" You then ask, giving them a look which is basically says, 'I told you so.' 

"Yes, we both regret asking you." Kaoru admits, finally deciding to look at you with a small nervous smile. 

"At least you know now." You then say with a small shrug. You lean towards the twins which causes them to look rather surprised though you ignore that for now. "Do you two want to leave? If the teacher isn't here, there's no point for us to be here too right?" You whisper towards them before looking around the classroom to see if anyone else has heard you. 

Hikaru smirks, "What a bad ass. You've been here for a few weeks and you already want to wag." Hikaru whispers, staring straight over towards you. 

You shrug lightly, "We're going to need a distraction." You pause, looking over towards the window. You stand up and grab your bag, just so that you can walk straight out once the plan is in place. "Oh my god!" You call out, grabbing the attention of the other students. "Look how many dogs there are out there!" You shout and you immediately hear chairs being pushed out and rushing students making their way over towards the window. 

Taking this opportunity, you slip away from the crowd of students before making your way over towards the door. "Quickly." You mouth over towards the twins, they grab their things and follow you out and into the hallway. "We have to be careful, there are hall monitors." You whisper to them.
