Gwen and I followed Luke down the ever increasingly dark hallway. The hallway was so dark that I could know longer see Luke's moving back, me and Gwen simply had to rely on following the sound of Luke's heavy foot steps.
"What Sullivans couldn't afford to put in any lights?I cant see a fucking thing." Gwen grumbled bumping into my back as I to bumped into Luke's broad back.
"Humans so weak and pitiful. Feel privileged women not many humans get the chance to come done this hallway alive that is." Luke mumbled under his breath.
"What! What was that stretch?" Gwen barked back after hearing Luke's not so nice statement.
Luck ignored Gwen's last comment completely, and instead opened the door we had reached. When he did this the sent of sex assaulted our noses. The room Luke lead us into was lit only by the light of hundreds of candles that littered every open space in the room.
"What is this place?" Gwen asked looking around at the dark walls covered in old hardened candle wax.
"That is for me to know and Miss. Hollingsworth to find out now isn't it." Luke stated sarcastically.
"Alright well than start explaining." I said looking around the odd room.
"That's not for me to do. As I said before Master Sullivans has all the answers you seek, but you have kept him waiting so there is know granites that he well be willing to speak with you." Luke said looking down at me.
"Well than take me to him already!" I practically yelled. This not knowing was getting on my last nerve.
"You see that black and gold door at the end of that hallway?" Luke asked pointing to a secluded dimly light hallway.
"Ya." I answered.
"You'll find your answers behind that door." Luke said focusing once again on Gwen who was currently playing with one of the many candles.
"Great thanks! Come one Gwen." I said heading toward the gold and black ornate door.
"Your guest was not invited to this personal audiences. Gwen well be staying here with me during your audience with Master Sullivans." Luke said this looking all to happy with the idea of spending extra alone time with Gwen. Gwen on the other hand looked about ready to kill me.
"Your shitting me right?! I don't want to stay by myself with MR. STARIES ALOT! Don't make me do it Mana!" Gwen yelled.
I felt horrible but we had already gotten this far so why should we stop now. "I'm sorry Gwen, just add this to me tab of all the crap I'm going to owe you after tonight is over." I said to Gwen
"Ah that list is going to last to the end of fucking time at this rate Mana." Gwen said throwing up her hands.
"I subject you hurry Miss. Hollingsworth. Master Sullivans is liable to lose his patients if you continue to was anymore of his time being late." Luke reminded us of his presences by pointing to the ornate black and gold door once again.
"I'm sorry Gwen. I'll try to be quick." I said as I moved toward the door.
"Ya ya whatever!" Gwen yelled over her shoulder as she eyed Luke imposing frame.
"Don't worry Miss. Hollingsworth, Gwen well be in good hands with me." Luke answered smirking as his eyes roomed her body.
"Ya you can stop eye raping me at any point buddy." Gwen yelled just as I pushed opened the door leading to 'Master Sullivans' laree.
I couldn't help sending up a silent prayer to the Gods that Gwen wouldn't get herself into to much trouble while I was gone. Once I crossed the threshold of the door I was plunged into complete darkness. I couldn't see my own hand in front of my own face. The room was completely silent along with dark, I couldn't even hear Gwen and Luke's bickering which should have been just on the other side of the thick black and gold door. A shiver ran down my spine as I felt something or possible someone brush past me.
