Ryan and Hope walked in the well decorated park. It was filled with many kids, big and small, couples, old and young, and solo players of many ages. The giant Christmas tree was being put up and kids jumped up and down to have their decoration the highest.

Ryan glanced over at Hope. Her cheeks were a beautiful, light pink. He could see her breath come out in smoke and her eyes filled with wonderment. She had worn a red pea coat and a hat with snowflakes stitched in with a pom-pom on the tip.

Ryan had worn his “Come to the dark side, we have cookies” shirt and his jacket he had worn in Agents of Secret Stuff. He smiled. He was happy. Though it was a simple moment he was at peace and had a bit of hope that things would get better. Nothing could make this moment better.

“SQEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!” Ryan cringed. Everyone turned to look. “OMG!! IT’S RYAN HIGA!!!! OMG! HI! I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M SEEING YOU HERE! IT SO AMAZING TO SEE YOU IN LIVE PERSON! Why haven’t you posted any videos? I thought you cared about your fans. I thought you were different! But you obviously don’t! No offence. By the way, can I have your autograph?” Ryan grit his teeth and dug his nails deep into his hands. He faced the floor.

Hope was still. People were still frozen in their positions waiting for something to happen. She wanted to hide under a rock or in a bush. She didn’t want to be the center of attention. Hope took a brief glimpse at Ryan. He stared at the ground, silent. Then something happened. Something strange.

“Ryan doesn’t want to give you his autograph! He has a life besides making videos and if you’re such a fan why didn’t you watch his going away video?! You would’ve known! Ryan may not have stayed for his fans but he definitely cares! And by the way, Ryan is different! He’s better! So give him some space and STOP TREATING HIM LIKE YOU'RE BETTER THAN HIM!”

The fan looked shocked at first but the, smirked. “Trying to stick up for your boyfriend? Awwww!  How cute! Too bad he left you!” She and her friends laughed. She looked around. “W-What? Where’s-” She didn’t finish her sentence because she dashed off to find Ryan.
