Those words replayed in Ronnies head as him and Janis walked home . " I wish he could tell me what death is like ... " Ronnie spoke softly .
"Huh?" Janis looked over at Ronnie " I wonder where he's at ? Heaven ? Hell? Do these places even exist ..." Ronnie jammed his fist in his pockets " what will eman think of me for letting this happen ...I always knew things would get bad at some point but I never thought one of us would be murdered ...I ...I...I..." Ronnie felt his face getting hot again as if he was gonna cry again
Ronnie never cried but hunter was Ronnies family they didn't consider each other as friends , they ha always clashed but still knew at the end of the day they were there for each other ...
Ronnie checked his pocket and seen a picture of hunter he had took the first day they met . Hunter was struggling on the bench press in weight lifting and Ronnie took a picture of it ....this is what hunter stuffed inside his pocket . He flipped the photo over and it read "don't let your strengths become weaknesses "
Ronnie teared up but before he could start crying ........Janis kissed him " I've been waiting to do that for forever now ... look Ronnie it's a bad business , lives are lost on the line he was your friend but you gotta fight through this and get back to your old self " Janis held Ronnies hand .
Ronnie gripped her hand and told her
"I don't know if I'll ever be the same again ...."
