The front door of the 21st house, on Turner street creaked open. Josh Roux, was going on his weekly walk to the shops on R-Eye street.

"I'll see you later mum!" Josh yelled across the house to his mother, Stephanie.

"Don't be too long Josh! The world can be cruel."

Josh just shook his head and continued to walk down the street.

Josh was a 13 year old, an only child and his parents were divorced. His father left Stephanie when he was just 3 years old. His only wish was to meet him again and get to know him. Josh wasn't shy, and he loved to listen to music. He was a genuine 13 year old. He walked until he arrived at the shops. He bought what he had to buy, and went to go home. Every time Josh walked down R-Eye street, he felt a strange sensation. As if he was being watched. He got to a corner street, and he glanced to his left. He saw a mysterious figure headed his way. Josh panicked. He attempted to continue his walk home, but he was unable to move. Josh's heart skipped a beat. The figure came within arms reach when it finally stopped.

"Josh Roux. What a pleasant surprise. You're looking fine."

The figure spoke fiercely.

"Who the hell are you?" Josh asked, trying to sound fierce but he was utterly petrified.

"That matters not. I am here because you have something that I want. A book. The book of R. And you will give it to me, by tomorrow morning, before you go to America."

Josh just gave him a look of pure confusion.

"I'm not going to America tomorrow. And I have never heard of the book of R, you must have the wrong person." Fear was running down deep in Josh's body.

"Im sure I've got the right person. I will see you back at this exact same place tomorrow morning. Or else you will suffer the consequences." The figure spoke in a solemn tone. It turned around swiftly and headed back in the direction it came from. Josh continued to watch him as he left. Once he was out of eyesight of civilians, he vanished in a swarm of shadows. Josh watched with his jaw dropped. He stayed and stared at nothing for a while, before he ran back home, fear the only thing on his mind.
