Hicks' base was a strong facility. Almost impenetrable. He had defences every where. Security cameras, sensors to detect sweepers and sorcerers, every thing you could need. Every room was lined with a new defence. And the room with the brown table, the middle room, was specifically reserved for the placing of the book of R. Once inside the slot on the table, the countdown to the rise of Red-Eye would begin. The only problem, was the back entrance. Hicks hadn't yet thought of a defence for that yet. It was practically unguarded. The only weak point. So the man with the golden finger, had no trouble opening the door. He casually strolled in, as if he owned the place. He tended to do that wherever he was. He was a true force to be reckoned with. He had many great abilities and powers. Yet he was unknown to many. Just as he went to knock on Hicks' door, Hicks came through and greeted him with an evil smile.
"Just let yourself in, did ya'?" Hicks asked.
"Yes. I did. You really need to fix that back door. Anyone could just stroll in undetected." The man with the golden finger replied with a wicked smile. "Where is Viper?"
"In the shadow chamber, recharging."
"Ok. We need to get this done. Josh survived the plane crash, and a personal assault from Viper. It will be hard to bring him down, but we must. Tesseract isn't a necessity. He is just the only thing standing between us and Josh. If you must, bring him down as well. Do whatever it takes."
Hicks just stared at him.
"Why is he such a big deal to you? Regardless, Red-Eye will kill him or Taunter."
"See, that's where you're wrong. Not many people know this, but I am a sweeper, with an extremely rare ability, I can see the future." Once the man with the golden finger said that, Hicks just stared at him,
"Oh, well congratulations." Was all he could say. The man with the golden finger continued,
"And I saw who Josh will really become, what he will do."
"Well, tell me. What did you see?" Hicks asked desperately.
"I saw Josh, or Taunter rip Red-Eye apart with their bare hands. Darkness was consumed by Taunter. Darkness that Red-Eye emitted. He absorbed it and became a truly evil force That is all I saw." The man with the golden finger exclaimed.
"Well, what does that tell us?" Hicks replied with annoyance.
"That tells us that if you don't kill him, he will destroy us. But he won't only destroy evil, he will destroy everything." The man with the golden finger had a look of determination on his face.
"What is your point?" Hicks felt that this was all rubbish.
"My point is, that I think we've known it all along. Josh will become Taunter.
He is supposedly supposed to kill all evil from the world, but because he consumes so much darkness, he will turn evil. He won't even care if he tears down cities. Let's just put it down to this. If you do not kill Josh, he will destroy the world. And if you don't do it quickly, it could be too late."
