Justin's mind was running wild while he was in jail for a short time that night. Everything inside of him was focused on her and what she made him do. A murderer was something he never thought he would be.
Probation, community service, a fine, and the revocation of his drivers license were his penalties. Naturally, the media also gave him his fair share of grief once he was released.
A common person would think that these punishments are nowhere near what a murderer would acquire.
While that is true, it was not the case for Justin.
Because he was not arrested for the murder of his lover.
He was arrested for reckless driving. He was charged with DUI and resisting arrest.
Justin had been drinking that night, but the level of alcohol in his body was not what he believed made him drive in the reckless way he had been.
He believed it was her, still finding a way to take over his mind and control what he did, even after she was dead.
He believed it was the hate he held for her.
He believed it was the shock of what he had done.
Regardless of what Justin felt and the confusion he found himself in, he knew just one thing.
His dreams had made him insane. And nobody could ever know.
