"The people are filthy."

Olivia jumped out of Stiles jeep as the morning sun hit her jet-black hair making it shine. Olivia was no longer wearing her red flannel from last night, but one of Stiles's shirts. Olivia waited for Stiles and began walking with him.

"Hey, you sure it was okay sleeping in the same bed last night?" Stiles scratched his head in nervousness.

Olivia looked up at Stiles and smiled. "Stiles, we have had sleepovers since forever, and we've always slept in the same bed."

Olivia looked away from Stiles and saw her strawberry blonde-haired friend wave at her at a distance. Olivia waves back at her and smiles.

"How is it that your friends with the most popular kids at school but still hang out with us?" Stiles asked as he waved over to Scott. Scott smiled and began walking towards them.

Olivia frowned and grabbed Stiles by the arm pulling him toward Scott. "Because you guys are my best friends."

Scott texted them the night before, assuring Olivia and Stiles that he was okay, but that he was bitten. Scott pulled his shirt up revealing a large bandage on the side of his abdomen.

"It was too dark to see much but I'm pretty sure it was a wolf." Scott pulled down his shirt covering the bandage.

"Is it bad?" Olivia asked completely believing Scott's story.

Stiles looked at both of them in surprise. "A wolf didn't bite him, there's no chance in hell that a wolf bit him."

"I heard a wolf howling," Scott said.

Stiles shook his head. "No, you didn't."

Scott stared at Olivia and then back at Stiles. "What do you mean, 'No, I didn't?'"

"Yeah, how do you know what he heard?" Olivia challenged.

Stiles scratched his head in frustration. "There are no wolves in New York City, there hasn't been any for decades."

"Really?" Scott said with a dumbfounded expression.

Olivia from the corner of her eyes saw her friend, wave over to her to come, but Olivia ignored her.

Stiles hit Scott in the shoulder and said, "Yes, really. There are no wolves in New York."

Scott looked down playfully and rolled his eyes. "Well, if you don't believe me about the wolf," Scott looked up to look at Olivia and Stiles, "then you're defiantly not going to believe me when I tell you I found the other half of the body."

"You what? You're kidding!" Stiles said excitedly, while Olivia was worried about Scott's mental state.

"Well, are you okay? It must have been..." Olivia paused and shuddered at the thought of a dead body, "gruesome."
