"How are we still going to fight without Merida?"Elsa asks
"She's the only one who could do archery in case we need to attack from afar"
"I can do archery"Hiccup said
"Really?"Jack asks
"I'm a bit good but not as good as Merida"He sighed
It has been months and they haven't heard from Merida.They have searched the North Pole and nothing!They couldn't even find her body!
The team was depressed.Everyday,at least one person cried.Except for Elsa,who tried to keep her feelings on check.She kept her secret for a year and there is no way she is going to let it go to waste.However...
"I still miss Merida everyday"Elsa confessed
"I can't believe we're celebrating our second Christmas as a team,and we already lost a member"Rapunzel sighed,a tear running down her cheek.On Christmas,Rapunzel would wake up super early to cook a meal and Merida would always be the first to compliment her cooking.
The team has had difficulties,especially when eating.They always waited for Merida to compliment Rapunzel's dishes only to sigh in disappointment when they don't hear her Scottish accent saying:
"This is really good!"
Jack missed it when He and Merida would bicker.
Elsa missed it when she and Merida bullied Jack.
Rapunzel missed it when she,Elsa,and Merida would have those nights in the library where all they would do was read and tell jokes.
Hiccup missed...he doesn't know but,he knows he missed her.They all did.
"Let's just move on"Hiccup said
The three gasped.Hiccup was the one who was the most worried,no one knew why.Maybe he was like that,maybe he acted like an older brother to everyone.
"Merida is gone and- there's nothing we can do about it"He says
"All we can do is keep fighting in her name"
They all nodded and smiled.
"If Merida is dead,we all know that her spirit would protect us and give us courage"Elsa says
Protect and gives us courage...
Hiccup's breath hitches as he felt his chest,but sighed in relief as he felt the medal under his shirt.
"Hiccup?Whats wrong?"Jack asks
"Nothing,I'm fine"He says
"Just hungry"
"Then I'll cook a meal,it's almost dinner time"Rapunzel says,getting up from her seat and wiping her paint-stained hands on her art apron.
She put on her cooking apron and proceeded to the kitchen.
"I'll be taking a nap,wake me up when the food's ready"Hiccup says getting up and walking to her room
The left Elsa and Jack,still sitting on the couch in silence.They never usually had time alone together,they didn't want to.It was rather awkward.
Jack coughs
"Hi"
"Hi"Elsa returns
"Um...how do you feel about Hiccup telling us to move on?"Jack asked
"I don't know.Usually Hiccup was he one to worry.Well,he's probably like that"Elsa shrugs
"Like...what?"
"You know,the type that would worry about everyone.The older brother type"
Jack shakes his head
"Oh my dear oblivious child"
"What?"Elsa asks confused
"Hiccup likes Merida!"Jack exclaims
"Really?"Elsa asks,shocked
"It's so obvious!"
"I'm not the type of person to fuss over romance"Elsa confesses
"Really?"He asks and then he suddenly starts laughing
"What are you laughing about?"She asks confused
"Surely,you being a queen,you would have suitors"
"I do have suitors but they were all turned down"Elsa says
"The only person I love is my..."
Elsa's eyes widen
"Is?"Jack asks,expectantly
"My sister!"Elsa stands up quick
"She can't rule a kingdom!"
Elsa begins to panick and paced back and forth.After thirty minutes of Jack watching Elsa pace back and forth,he got annoyed and rolled his eyes.
"Elsa"Jack stands up and places his hands on her shoulder,making her stop walking. He shakes her as he notices that she was still muttering.
"Elsa"He calls her attention, she stares into his dark blue eyes.
"Your kingdom is fine.When the war is over,you'll be back in your kingdom and wake up thinking it was all a dream and forget about us"
"Forget about you guys?Never!"Elsa laughs
"It would be hard to get your weirdness out of my head!Besides,Corona is my trading partner so...loophole"
"There's the Elsa we know"Jack laughs and Elsa joins him.
"Now let's go wake Hiccup up,I think Rapunzel's finished"
