Three months had passed, they never had to rush so much details on getting a wedding together. It had been just little over a year since they met and now she was about to walk down the aisle to say 'I do'. She was not so nervous as she was excited. They decided to do their wedding at their new home, in LA, since it was on the beach, so it was the perfect scenery for a wedding. Seth and her didn't see each other in over 24 hours due to tradition, and she was more excited about seeing him. She was in a beautiful Vera Wang wedding dress. She was not big on designer names but she personally got Vera to design her the perfect gown. She wanted her wedding to be perfect. For both, Seth and her. So much so, she made him apart of ever aspect of the wedding, except the dress, which was trying. She was a simple woman and he was an extravagant man. So they butted heads at times. But at the end, they always compromised. Now, she stood in their house as everyone was on the beach, waiting for her. All she could think about was becoming Seth's wife. Tony walked up to her. "You ready, sweetie."
She smiled big. "You have no idea, daddy."
He stuck his arm out and she took it. They walked out the doors and Billy stood there waiting for her. He quickly disappeared for a minute as they waiting for him. He came back and stood on the other side of her as she took his arm. She couldn't decide who would give her away, they both were her father, in every way, so asking one without the other, she just couldn't. The bridal chorus came on. They began to walk down the aisle. She saw Seth standing on the other end, waiting with a huge smile on his face. She smiled as she felt a little flush. People awed at her dress and how beautiful she was. She looked on the other end of the to see her friends as bridesmaids. Even Alex. They were her best friends and she wouldn't have it any other way but for them to be her bridesmaids. She saw her boys standing closely behind Seth as they were the ring bearers. Everything was perfect. She finally got to Seth as it felt like one of the longest walks. She looked at Tony as he lifted her veil and kissed her on the cheek. Then turned to Billy who also kissed her cheek then handed her hand to Seth. He took it graciously as he gave the two men a nod. She moved so she was standing in front of Seth. He looked at her as he smiled. She refused to let her see her wedding dress, but now he saw it on her and he found himself marvel at her beauty. Her pastor, who she flew out from Tennessee, was ready to marry them. She said to everyone, "Dearly beloved, we are here to join Seth and Michelle in holy matrimony. We share with them their delight in finding love with each other, and support their decision to be together from now until the end of time. As this couple enters into marriage, they do so with thought and reverence. They give thanks for the past, which brought them to this place, and look forward with hope to what the future will bring. Marriage is like a great umbrella that shelters love from the elements.
Corinthians One says that love is patient and kind. It is not jealous or boastful, not irritable or resentful, not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its' own way. It does not rejoice in the wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes in all things and endures all things. Love never ends.
This marriage is a symbol of Michelle and Seth's commitment to that love." The Pastor stopped for a moment and looked at Seth as she continued, "Seth, do you take Michelle to be your wife? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect her, forsaking all others and holding only unto her forevermore?"
Seth looked at Michelle as he said, happily, "I do."
Her pastor looked at Michelle. "Michelle, do you take Seth to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish and protect him, forsaking all others and holding only unto him forevermore?"
She beamed, "Of course, I do."
"The ring is a symbol of the unbroken circle of love. Love freely given has no beginning and no end, no giver and no receiver for each is the giver and each is the receiver. May these rings always remind you of the vows you have taken."
