Olivia got up too early, the next day. As soon as she got up, she heard some voices. Olivia looked down from the branch. There were two weird figures. They had large wings fixed to their backs. They looked like fairies in some ways.

" Myrtle says she saw a human girl in her garden, yesterday." a figure dressed in blue said.

" I wonder what a human girl is doing her. I bet she must have lost her way here. I remember we caught another human girl, Eva, a year ago." said another figure spreading her wings.

" We would better go now. Bastian is going to mad if he comes to know we were chatting in his garden." the other figure said.

Olivia watched as they flew away.

Now, who was Bastian?

However, Olivia knew it was no safe to stay there. She climed down the tree and ran out of that place.

Olivia repented on her decision to come to the forest. It was a really bad decision. Her small room was more comfortable than the large trees. Though her stepfamily was horrible, it was better to stay with them than to wander in the enormous forest alone with a hungry stomach.

Suddenly, something caught Olivia's attention. It was a house, a tiny little house hidden among the bushes.

It was small but for some reason Olivia seemed to like the house

It was small but for some reason Olivia seemed to like the house. The front door of the house was made of wood. There was a narrow path which led to the house. The path was covered with bushes and flower plants. The place was dark.

Olivia decided to go and see if the house was locked. The more she went near the house, the more dark it became. When she reached the verandah of the house, it looked as of it was almost evening. The place was very dark and awfully quiet. The only sound that Olivia heard was of the leaves that were moving while the wind blew. Olivia noticed that there was even a bulb fixed to the door.

Olivia knocked the wooden door. No answer. Olivia knocked again and waited for two minute, still no one answered.

Olivia said to herself as she slowly opened the door. She peeped inside. However, there was no one. The room was very small.

"How odd! Why would someone leave without locking their house?" Olivia said to herself as she stepped inside.

The room was small. It had a table, a sofa, some chairs and a cupboard which was locked.

Olivia went to the other room. It had a small bed and a cupboard. There was a small lamp on a tool near the bed. Olivia tried to open the cupboard hoping that it was unlocked. And surprisingly, it opened.

There were a lot of dresses, most of which were black. Olivia was tired of wearing black, so she took out a navy blue gown and tried it on herself. Since it suited her perfectly, she decided to keep it with her. She hated to steal, however, she had to. According to her, it was not stealing. When the owner of the house comes, she would ask for permission

She also took a warm shower and put the same dress on. She went to the tiny kitchen and made some cookies for herself. After eating them, she decided to rest.

Olivia felt as if the house was hers. She guessed that the house belonged to a witch because there were a number of strange books kept over the cupboard. She just wished the witch wasn't horrible like Myrtle.

When Olivia went to the bedroom, she noticed a trunk in the corner of the room. It was covered with a red cloth. She sat down near the trunk and slowly opened it. Before opening fully, she heard some strange moises inside.

When she opened it, many colourful fireflies came out and flew past her. When Olivia noticed them closely, she realized that they were not fireflies. They were the tiny fairies that she saw in her secret place.

Olivia caught one of them. The others flew past her. The one in her hand pleaded Olivia to let her go.

" Who are you?" Olivia asked the tiny little creature. "Can you show me the way out of the jungle?"

"I am called Elphie by my friends. Let's get out of here and I will show you the way out of this forest." The tiny, little figure replied.

Suddenly, someone shouted from behind, "Elphie? Get out of my house."

The tiny fairy quickly got out of Olivia's hand and flew out of the window.

Just before Olivia was about to look behind, someone hit her over her head and everything went black.
