"Olivia, Olivia. Wake up."

Olivia opened her eyes and saw two golden eyes staring at her.

"Kelly!" Olivia exclaimed as she rubbed her eyes.

"You have been sleeping for nearly two hours." Kelly said.

"And most of the tribe now knows that you are here. All of them were curious and they wanted to meet you. But Scar did not let them in. She thinks you have had enough for one night." she continued.

"A lot of people wanted to meet me?" Olivia asked, surprised.

"Yeah!" Kelly replied. "But not all of them are pleased to know that you are here."

"Are they mad at Scar for bringing me here?" Olivia asked.

"No, it has nothing to do with Scar. It's just that some people here thinks that you were raised by the fairies. And the Wykers aren't exactly friends with the fairies." she answered.

"Why does everyone seem to think that I have grown up with the fairies?" Olivia quizzed.

"After the Wilders came into power, there was a rumour that you were taken by the fairies to a safer place. Of course, most of the people did not believe it but some did. And since the Wykers are at constant odds with the fairies, some people of our tribe did not like the idea of you staying here."

"Oh!" Olivia sighed. "Anyway, what caused the enmity between the Wykers and the fairies?"

"I don't really know. But according to Scar, years ago, when the Amadors ruled, the Wykers were very good friends with the royalty. They had much better relation with the royalty than them. The fairies didn't like it much. They always wanted to be close to the royalty." Kelly said.

Olivia was silent. She still had so much to learn about the forest and her past.

"And then, after the Wilders came into power, the fairies started a rumour that the Wykers had betrayed the Amadors. But no one believed it. Everyone knew the Wykers were very faithful to the Amadors." Kelly added proudly.

"That explains why Scar did not look pleased when I told her about Hyacinth." Olivia said.

"And we are also opposites, don't you think? We wear dark cloaks and wear all those colourful garments. I don't think they like our cloaks. Maybe they are afraid that we might be hiding some weapons in our clothes." she chuckled. "Anyway, you must be hungry. Dinner's ready. We've already eaten it. I told Nyella to bring your dinner. But she doesn't really pay attention. She lives in her own little world."

"Hey Kelly! I thought you said my name." came a voice as someone poked their head inside the tent.

"Yes. Nyella, I think I told you to bring Olivia's dinner." Kelly said.

"Did you, really? Wait a minute. I will bring it." Nyella replied and turned to Olivia. "I am really sorry. I must have been thinking of something else."

"That's what you always do." Kelly muttered as Nyella went away.

Just a moment later, Scarlett walked in.

"You're awake!" she said to Olivia. "Some people were very curious about you and they wanted to meet you but I told them off."

"Yeah! Kelly told me. Thanks for that." Olivia said.

Scarlett was about to say something when Nyella bounced inside the room carrying a tray.

"I am very sorry for being late, Olivia." she apologized as she put down the tray in a nearby round shaped tool. "Here's your dinner."
