*Liam's POV*

I was organizing books that were just returned at the library when I heard loud laughter. I looked up and saw 2 guys walking in, laughing and stumbling. One had black hair and the other had brown, curly hair.

But seriously? The noise they were making was way too loud in here. "Shh!" I shushed them, and suddenly curly hair looked at me. I narrowed my eyes at them as he just continued to stare at me. Can I help you, Curly? The black haired one chuckled and pulled Curly away.

I shrugged and went back to doing my job. I really do like being in the library, so it's no wonder that I volunteered to work here. They even pay me, so why should I complain? I mean, I get to be surrounded by books almost everyday and it's a pretty easy job. I just pretty much have to organize the books, put them back on the shelves, help other students find books and tell people to be quiet. Why bother coming to the library just to talk? There are other places for that.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out to see a text from Louis.

LEEMO! We're coming to the library to chat! Don't be a prat and shush us again! You will lose your best friends. - Loueh

And then another text from Niall.

Li-Li! We gotta talk to you about something important, so be good and listen to us! - Ni-Ni

I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket. I already knew what they wanted to talk about. It'll be none other than my dating life. Yeah, I haven't dated in 3 months because my ex-boyfriend Andy moved away. I missed him and possibly still love him. But can you blame me since we dated for a whole year? I'm not up for that conversation, even with my best friends.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard talking. I looked around and saw the "rowdy boys": black hair and Curly talking loudly.

"Shh!" I shushed them again, and Curly looked back at me. Why does he keep looking at me that way? I went back to organizing the books and ignoring them. They were still talking, but whispering now. Good enough, I guess.

The doors opened again, revealing my best friends walking in with mischevious grins. Oh no...

"Before you start, just no," I said quickly, glaring at them.

"Come on, Payno! You haven't dated in 3 freaking months. It's way past time to move on," Louis said.

"Yeah, Li-Li! We have a couple guys you could meet. They've actually been interested in you for a while apparently," Niall added.

"What guys?" I asked, already annoyed of the conversation. I'm still not over Andy and they just have to get used to it.

"A lot of guys. Apparently they like the whole 'nerdy-librarian with muscles' thing," Louis said, smirking at me. Niall laughed and had to hold onto the desk.

I rolled my eyes and asked, "What do you guys know about those two over there? They've been pretty loud in here."

"Why? You like them?" Niall asked, wiggling his eyebrows at me before looking over at Curly and black hair. Louis did the same, but then his shoulders tensed when he looked over. Something wrong?

Niall turned back around quickly with wide eyes. "No, Li-Li! Why them?!"

"What? What's about them?" I asked in confusion.

Louis turned back around to face us and looked pretty pissed. "Leemo, tell me you don't actually like them, let alone both," he said darkly.

"Huh? No, no I don't. I just wanted to know what you knew about them. I've never seen or met them before," I said, even more confused.
