Who asked for: IceLock is ice blue and white with a silver blaze, and she is a sonic jet.

Details: She is favored by Megatron (not as much as Soundwave, but she's up there) Starscream doesn't trust her but in the end she saves him from a freak blizard when they both end up trapped in the Tundra.

*beep* *beep* *beep*

*beep* *beep* *beep*

I groaned and ignored the sound.

*beep* 'Warning: Heating systems failing' *beep* 'Shut down imminent' *beep*

Only then did I open my optics and was startled by the flurry of snowflakes in my field of vision. My internal clock read nearly 9:00 PM, how long had it been? I struggled to my peds, but I felt so weighted down I fell to my knees and servos instead. I felt so helpless. Warning after warning flashed in my processor, warnings about frozen joints, internal damage, heating system malfunctions, and worst of all the warning for frozen energon. If my energon froze, I would die instantly.

This day started so good though...

I kneeled in front my Lords throne respectively and looked into the optics of my leader. I felt Starscreams CPU field fluctuate as he kneeled beside me, he always kept his field close to his body, probably because he hated brushing fields together. Seekers were always sensitive with their fields.

"Why did you request our presence my lord?" Starscream asked as he stood from his kneel. We both had been startled from sleep for a 'special mission' that required experienced flyers like Starscream and myself. It was no doubt important if it required Megatron's Second in Command and one of his lead strategists.

"I need the two of you to inspect the 'Punisher' together. Starscream, you will supervise while IceLock does an inspection of the ships database." Megatron briefed us before waving his servo in dismissal.

I mentally sighed as I stood and started the walk to my quarters, why must the mission be at almost 5:00 in the morning?! I was so tired, as I had found it hard to recharge last night. I did not mind the SIC, but due to Megatron favoring me slightly he hates my internals. Then again, Starscream hates everyone. Once I was readied for my mission I went to the main wing on the nemesis we would be ground-bridged from. Oh yeah, I should explain what the 'Punisher' is. The Punisher was a Decepticon warship back on cybertron, but when the area it patrolled got overrun by the Autobots, they made a last stand that is still talked about. It used all its ammo on the outpost and fled the solar system so the Autobots couldn't get the valuable data on board, that day every mech on that ship died for the Decepticon cause. Recently some Vehicons where sent to the wrong location and discovered the wreck.

I heard the familiar -whir- of the groundbridge starting up. My optics soon met the swirling green and blue vortex I have grown used to. Starscream came up beside me and I nodded to Soundwave before walking into the groundbridge side by side with Starscream. Once we were fully inside the vortex a vehicon's voice yelled at us from the other side, "Get out of there! It's malfu-" his voice cut off as the groundbridge shuttered around us and the doorway back closed. It soon donned on us we were sealed off from the nemesis. We both sprinted towards the other side hurriedly, praying we wouldn't be crushed by the force of the bridge collapsing on us. I shook my head to rid the images of us being crushed like tin cans and pushed my systems harder in an attempt to speed up. Soon we got close enough and jumped....right as the groundbridge imploded. We felt the force of it dragging us back before it shot us forward, Starscream and I were flung from each other as the force of the implosion reached its full. I lost sight of the SIC as I landed faceplate first in the cold snow. I vaguely felt my heating system manually turn on as my field of vision swam with black. My last thoughts before everything faded to black were how the pit I survived, and if Starscream even did.

Wait. Starscream! I forgot!

I once again struggled to my peds, but this time I stayed upright. I looked around hurriedly for my SIC, but saw in the nearby snow. I struggled to walk through the snow that had accumulated in the almost sixteen hours I was unconscious. My comm. was completely useless now as I tried to contact the Nemesis. I soon noticed something odd. A trail through the snow, but due to the blizzard I couldn't be sure if I was just seeing things because of my heavily damaged processor. This assumption was dismissed as I noticed something blue mingled with the deeper snow. I dug down slightly and saw a thin trail of frozen energon in the pathway. I hurried my way down the path until I reached the Punishers wreck.

I gingerly stepped inside of the ancient warship and shivered as my heating system collapsed completely, cutting me off from warmth. I rounded the corner and my vents hitched in horror at the sight. Bodies were scattered across the floor of the main control room and frozen energon covered many places on the floor, but one body stood out from the others. I would recognize the slim silver frame anywhere, Starscream.

I rushed over and checked his pulse, thank Primus I felt it! Starscream cracked a tired optic open and spoke with a weak voice, "I knew y-you would m-make it." He was freezing! I knew deep inside my energon was starting to freeze as well and his was already a quarter frozen. I sat down beside him and leaned into him, hoping we could warm each other slightly. We talked for an eternity, we talked about the warship, the war, megaton, and why he seemed to despise me. He admitted he assumed I would take his spot as SIC, but I just laughed. Me as second in command, HA! Soon the danger of the situation caught up to us when Starscream manually went into forced stasis. I was alone in my thoughts now. I had a rocky relationship with Starscream, but maybe, just maybe, if we survived this journey through kaon that would change. I fought my internal system as it attempted to put me into stasis, Starscream was caught off guard, I won't be. Sadly though I was losing ground, but I knew if I shut down we would both probably die. As I started to slip into recharge I heard a distinctive whir...the groundbridge! I internally prayed to Primus that it wasn't Autobots as I yelled for help. I saw a flash of red and heard Knockouts telltale gasp as my system fully forced me into stasis, "T-took y-ya l-Long-g eno-ogh..." I muttered as everything went black.

I would be having a looooong talk with soundwave about the groundbridge when I woke up.

Primus save his soul if Starscream wakes up too.
