You and steph had been dating for about 1 year and it was the best year of your life and his life ever.
But there was one missy that didn't quite make that year easy.
It was Stephens daughter Riley curry.
She was a angel with her mommy but when she went to her daddy's house she would leave us speechless when she left.
"Babe I don't get why she doesn't like me" I said.
"Hunny it'll get better" steph said hugging me from behind.
"I don't know steph" I said pulling away from his embrace
"Babe what are you saying" steph asked coming closer to me taking my hands into his.
"What I'm saying is we should probably break up beca-" steph interrupted me.
"Baby no what is going to happen is I'm going to sit down with my daughter and her mother and confront them about rileys behavior"
"No steph, don't do that I don't wanna cause a mess between you and your ex-wife because" I said seriously
" well it's going to happen" steph said kissing my face.
I just smiled.
I love this man so much
If only his daughter could see this.
"Ok ok ok" I said laughing.
He pulled back and gave me a kiss on my lips.
***at Aisha'a house*****
Steph knocked on the door.
"Hey guys" Aisha said while hugging steph and me .
"Hi" I said back
I loved Aisha even though her and steph got a divorce they ended on good terms because of their beautiful baby.(Riley)
"Ummm can you go and get Riley" steph asked kinda harsh
"Babe stop that was a little rude" I said hitting his shoulder.
"Sorry"
"Riley your dad is here" we could hear Aisha say from the stairs
"Dada" Riley said
Causing Stephens eyes to lighten up, a big smile to spread across his face.
I know this is hard for him.
Having his daughter hate his girlfriend.
But he doesn't show it cause he's strong.
"Daddy" Riley squealed running towards him
"Princess" steph said while picking up Riley.
And giving her kisses on her face
"Okay now can we all sit down really quick"
"Sure"
"Now I know this has nothing to do with you Aisha cause you respect us, right?"
"I mean at first it hurt me but now I'm alright"
"So you have no idea about rileys behavior"
"No I don't know, what did she do"
"She has been acting up every since I brought my girlfriend home"
"Baby why are you doing this please tell me so I can fix it" steph asked pleading
"I want my mommy and daddy back together" Riley said crying.
When she said that I almost got up and left but steph pulled me right back down next to him.
"Baby look at me" he told Riley wiping away her tiny tears.
"Sweetie I don't know how your feeling okay so I'm gonna try to make this work, but my girlfriend loves you like she's your own and she is just like your mother baby always caring for you buying you new toys trying to impress you."
"Why does she do that daddy" Riley questioned
"Because she loves you and it breaks my heart knowing my two girls aren't getting along, and I know she'll never replace mommy so don't think she will but can you just be nicer to her"
"You don't have accept her right now or tomorrow but can we start by being nice."
"Sure daddy"she said putting her arms around Stephs neck.
"Well you wanna go with us to the zoo" I asked.
"Yes" Riley replied which shocked me and steph because that's the first time she's responded to me.
"I love you Stephen curry"
"I love you too future Mrs.curry"
