-Lavanya's P.O.V- 

I look out the window of the passenger seat, watching the thousands of green tall trees pass by. I've never seen so many trees. That's mostly because I've always been a city person, but oh well...

I have my earphones in, listening to Pop Danthology. I honestly love Daniel Kim for mashing these songs up, it's amazing!

My head rests on the cold window and I'm about to fall asleep when I see the top of two tall towers. I jolt up and lean forward in my seat, looking wide eyed as a big metal gate opens and we drive up a road, completely flat green grass on both sides. I see all the kids there, all of them smiling and having fun. Playing soccer, throwing frisbees, teenagers flirting, some are even having a water war, others are studying, some are just sitting around while some boys run around and are just being annoying.

It's like this has all been cut out of a movie or something.

Suddenly, the car came to an abrupt stop, making me jerk forward. I hiss as my shoulder stings from the seatbelt and look forward. My eyes widen when I come face-to-face with a brunette boy. He looks at me with a goofy smile, that's until he looks me in the eyes. His lips part and he freezes in his spot, just staring into my eyes.

It's not until Markus honks the horn that he seems to snap back into reality. The guy blinks rapidly and looks to the driver side of the car. He suddenly gets a lot paler and runs the hell away, three other boys coming up to him moments later.

"Sorry about him, Benjamin doesn't know what careful means. Everyone likes him, though," Marcus tells me, giving me a short glance as he continues driving again. He turns the wheel to the left and parks the car. Marcus' name is written on a sign in front of us. I look out my door and gape when I see the shining new car there.

"It's yours." I don't even look at his as I'm still gaping at the beautiful car before me.

"What?" I mumble and hear him chuckle behind me. He shuffles around for a moment before he places something cold in my palm. I look down and let out a sharp gasp. "No, no. I can't accept this." I shake my head and attempt to hand the keys back to him, but he puts his hands in his pockets.

"It was your father's favorite car and he told me many many years ago this would be your 16th birthday present. Your birthday is in a couple of months. Look at it as an early gift from him," he says, looking at me sincerely in the eyes. I give him a tiny smile and surprise the both of us by hugging him. He sighs and puts his chin on my head, hugging me back. "They'd be so proud of you, Lavanya."

I smile and pull back, stepping out of the car to look at my car, the red Lexus LF-A Roadster. I bite my lip and turn off the car alarm, jumping over the frame and sitting down in the driver's seat. Looking out the front window, I see a sign that has my name written on it in elegant silver cursive letters.

I run my fingers over the leather dashboard and kiss the wheel. It's so beautiful.
