Chapter 12: By my side

Xevlyex's POV
I look at his sleeping face as his hand gently held my hand. I smile softly and carefully let go of his hand not wanting him to wake up. I stand up and left his room closing the door quietly then walk toward my room. I close the door behind me and stare at the floor. I have been wondering... Why does he look tired...

Sighing I walk toward my desk and look at the books that I haven't read. I grab one of the book and lay on my bed then start reading the book. I heard someone whimpering and I look at the door worried. I can heard a quiet sobs and I jolt up from my bed running out of my room walking into Jungkook's room.

He was shaking in fear and his knuckles were turn white from clutching the sheet tightly. I gently grab his hand and shake his shoulder. "Jungkook! Jungkook!" His eyes shot open as he sat up breathing heavily.

"What's wrong, Jungkook?" I said worriedly as he took a deep breath. Is this the reason why he can't sleeps last night? There's must be something that make him go worry and make him scared to go to sleep.

He eyes look into mine. "I heard you sobbing... What happen?" I said and he pull me toward him. He hug me tightly as I slowly hug back. "Please don't go... Don't leave" he whisper.

The next day, we woke up. I wake Jungkook up and walk into my room. I wash my face and brush my teeth before taking a shower. I dry my hair and grab my dark blue collar sweater and my black skinny jean. I brush my hair and tied it to ponytail. I grab my backpack and went downstair.

Jungkook was not ready yet so I slowly walk into the kitchen putting my backpack on the chair before walking to the fridge. I haven't cook for so long so... I will cook breakfast for both of us today. I grab the eggs and grab the frying pan I turn the gas on before cracking the eggs and grab the spatula.

After done cooking fried eggs and bacons I placed it on both of our plates. I heard footsteps walking into the kitchen and I saw Jungkook in dark blue hoodie and black skinny jean. Both of us stare at each other and he smile widely. "I can't wait to taste your cooking" I blush light red before sitting down.

We ate our breakfast silently and I help him wash the dishes. We walk into the car. He start the engine as I put my seatbelt on. "Jungkook..." I softly said and he hum in respond.

"Did you have a nightmare last night?" He stay silent before clearing his throat. "It's just my bitter past that suddenly came to haunt me.. Every time I feel lonely the nightmare will haunt me every night" he said.

We both has the same things. Every time we feel lonely the nightmare would come to haunt us. "We have the same reasons every time we had a nightmares..." I mumble as he gently held my hand.

"Please... Be by my side"
