Ryan and I hadn't spoken in two days since the incident of almost being caught but we did have secret glances at each other during that time. We had two more days left of conferences before we could really enjoy our vacation here.
Today Shana wanted to go shopping so I was babysitting my angel for the while being.
We were walking in the lobby of the hotel when I decided to ask the front desk about any near by parks I could carry her to.
"Hi good day I'm looking for a park to carry my daughter" I informed kindly to the woman who was wearing a "Manager" badge. This woman looked so familiar. Where did I know her from?
"Hi dear, yes I can assist. And whats this little angel's name?" she asked smiling.
"Melissa" I said smiling happily proud of my daughter.
"Aww she looks like you" she gushed.
I smiled. Melissa doesn't look like me. More like Hood. Is this woman blind?
"Sally" she said sticking out of hand to greet me.
"Melanie" I said while shaking her well manicured hand.
"Well here is a map of the city. Right here you will find three parks you could visit" she explained handing me a map.
"Thank you. Enjoy your day Sally" I said smiling.
"You to Melanie. Have fun with your daughter" Sally replied cheerfully.
As I picked up Melissa from off the front desk counter I turned to leave and bumped into a hard chest.
That made Melissa scream out "Oh mommy look a rock!"
I looked up to the person and saw it was Ryan.
"Oh hey there Ms.Stubbs" Ryan said cooly.
I just raised an eyebrow.
He barely calls me by my last name but yet he is doing it now.
"Who is this little thing" he asked as Melissa hid her face from him. She didn't like strangers so I understood.
"Baby this is her cute little daughter. Imagine when we have ours" Sally said coming out of no where and scaring me.

"Daughter?" Ryan asked me confused right as I asked "baby?"
"Yes" we both said at the time which made Sally watch us in awe.
"Oh you guys know each other?" she asked.
"Uh" I began .
"Yes this is my new work partner babe remember I told you it was Mr.Hood and another person, well here she is" Ryan explained.
"Oh" was all she said.
"Well in that case, Melanie I'm Sally, Ryan's fiancee" she continued smiling. I sense that she was marking her territory by the way she said RYAN'S FINANCEE.
All the blood drained from my face.
This was the woman.
Wow.
"Congrats, well I will be on my way now" I said before giving one last look at Ryan. Just then Melissa turned around to watch him and he gasped.
There was no doubt he saw the resemblance of Mr.Hood in her.
Before he could ask anything, I quickly walked away and exited the hotel.

Ryan POV
I saw Mel was very uncomfortable talking to Sally and was about to walk off when her "daughter" turned around to watch me.
Just then my heart stopped.
Her child.
She looked just like Mr.Hood.
Same big brown eyes and round face.
I definitely wasn't mistaken, this was Hood's child but why would Mel call her her daughter.
Mr.Hood was married so how could that child be hers and Hood's.
I needed answers and I needed them right now so I followed her out the hotel right after I blew Sally an air kiss.
I swear the woman walks so Damn fast I was out of breath when I finally caught to her.
"Melanie!" I called out making her stop and turn to watch me.
When she saw me she just rolled her eyes.
"What do you want?" she asked irritatedly.
"I know who her dad is" I whispered.
She stiffened for a fraction of a second before putting on a fake smile.
"I don't care" she said and began to walk off.
"Maybe you don't but Leah would" I muttered loudly for her to hear.
She flew around and marched back towards me.
"Maybe your little Sally would like to know that you fucked me in the emergency exit or better yet in a bed" she said sternly in my ear before walking off.
"You wouldn't!" I screamed after her.
"I would!" she said turning her head.
I chased after her.
"Our two secrets then?" I asked.
She turned and watched me.
"yep" and then she continued walking to wherever she was headed.
