*~*~*~*

Some people have probably realised I changed the heroines name from Cheyenne to Amber. I'm sorry if there are still some Chey's or Cheyenne's floating around, Later this week I'll go through it again to make sure I got them all. Sorry for any confusion,

Most of the characters in this story belongs to Masashi Kishimoto, I just fanficitoned it :) Comments are appreciated and I'll be uploading more of this story soon. Just so you know this follows the path of a girl picked up by Kakashi and will mainly be read with her as the main character and Kakashi the sub-main

Don't worry Naruto will be in this story but it won't be until later. This story will hopefully cover the majority of the stuff that happens in the original story line with a little bit of editing and maybe just completely new stuff added by me, but I don't plan on deviating to far from the original. Please comment, I want to know if people like this or if its even worth continuing to put up on this site.

"Tell me why."

It's the third thing we were taught in my old village, first was how to fight, second loyalty to our other half, and third how to kill without a thought. If we didn't do those things we would die or be killed. As soon as you start walking they teach you the basic taijutsu movements and you have to start fighting for your food. My other half was a white wolf with some red thrown into her fur, the night she died another part of me died. She was me and I was her. We fought side by side for 5 years. That's how they teach you how to kill in cold blood. They take your other half and if you don't kill them they kill it. There's nothing worse than losing your other half. You lose the will to go on. Many people died because of losing theirs, some were only 3 or 4. You're only supposed to to get that close to a wolf, we were never taught about it in humans. I've gotten too close to him to just let it go.

"You're my other half!"

*~*~*

I was born in the village of Swansea. It was a beautiful place nestled right in between the ocean and the forest, with only a thin strip of beach to warn that the forest was ending, it was like we were the only ones of earth. My village had a total of 73 people, we all knew each other and there was no such thing as poverty or hate,or so I thought. We depended on each other to live and survive, we had no money or form of payment, our only flaw was our strength.

Swansea was feared by every other village, we had no allies, only enemies. We had only attacked one other village before and we totally obliterated them, it had taken only twenty of our mediocre ninjas to completely destroy a village of three hundred and fifty-seven people, mainly ninjas. Our strenght was what kept us alive for as long as it did but it was also the very thing that destroyed us.

I was born like every other child, a mother, a father, and I had a sister who was two years older than me. In my village it was taught that too many attachments mean't a weaker ninja, which mean't I had almost no emotional attachment to them at all, they were there to feed me and teach me the fundamentals of fighting, that was it. My sister and my parents were quite a bit closer than I ever got to them. Me and my sister, Becca, that was a totally different story, we got so attached that we could sense where each other was and if we got a strong enough emotion the other one felt it too. I looked up to Becca more than anyone else, I also got scolded by Becca more than anyone else, tears weren't allowed in out village, they were another form of weakness, and Becca would always punish me if she caught me crying.

My sister was a prodigy. She could fight better than most ninjas seven times her age when she was only three and four. I envied that about her, the fact that she was so strong and smart mean't that both of our parents lavished the attention on her. Her every accomplishment was so amazing that you would have thought she had found the stair way to heaven, that's how much attention they gave her. I was so jealous that it was all I could do to not just scream at my parents, look at me! you have another child too! I had the ravaged feeling of the ignored child, but no matter how badly the feeling of rejection hurt, I was happy to live in Swansea, I loved it so much.
