Sirius POV
It was nothing like the young boy had expected.
There was no heavy smell of alcohol nor smoke, and everything was clean and tidy. A couple of men were in the corner of the bar chatting away happily and one older woman was sitting in front of the bar counter.
Sirius looked at his tutor, confused and got a raised brow and crooked smile before the man leaded him towards the counter. The taller man hold a chair for Sirius and sat beside him now smiling to the bartender.
"Hey Steven, give me two rootbeers please." The man said and Sirius scoffed. Mr.Lupin looked back to him and smiled again.
"What? Did you seriously think I would buy you a beer? With alcohol? You are underaged." He laughed and leaned to the counter. Sirius crossed his hands and muttered something. So this was a trap too, stupid.Sirius looked back to the man, Mr.Lupin, and spotted him staring back.
"Want to ask me something?" Sirius asked with the best bitchface he could manage for now.Mr.Lupin smiled politely.
"Yes I would like to ask you a couple of things." Mr.Lupin admitted nodding faintly.
"Then go ahead!" Sirius said and leaned on the counter. He had all the sassy answers on the top of his tongue, ready to burn him alive.Mr.Lupin looked at his hands for a second before raising his head and looking back to Sirius.
"What kind of music do you listen to?" The man asked and Sirius' jaw almost dropped open from surprise. This was not the question Sirius was expecting. Not even close.
"Erhm... I-I like classic rock." Sirius choked out his answer. He didn't come up with anything better to say.Mr.Lupin didn't look surprised and that made Sirius little upset.
"Deep purple? Styx? Queen?" Mr.Lupin asked. Sirius nod faintly.
"Yeah. ACDC and kiss too." Sirius add and didn't even glance at his rootbeer that the bartender just gave to him. Mr.Lupin himself took a sip already, smiling a suspicious smile that made Sirius nervous."How about your siblings? You have those?" Mr.Lupin asked and Sirius just rolled his eyes. The man probably already knew that. He decided to answer anyways.
"Two bros." Sirius answered. This time it was Mr.Lupin who looked surprised and nothing pleased Sirius more. He managed to surprise him, good. He was on his way to the control.Sirius turned to his roobeer and took a long glup. Mr.Lupin waited patiently as Sirius whiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Regulus, annonying little brother of mine... And James. My real brother." Sirius explained and smiled cheesily. James would laugh at him if he heard this, but be flattered anyways.Mr.Lupin let out an understanding hum and turned back to his rootbeer.
"What is your favourite dessert?" The man asked then and Sirius just scoffed again. These questions were so strange... Should he keep answering? Well he promised to, and Sirius Black never breaks his promises.
"Smoothies and milkshakes mostly." Sirius said and looked at his glass where rootbeer were bubbling quietly.Mr.Lupin chuckled at this.
"I personally like chocolate." Mr.Lupin said and Sirius rolled his eyes. Who asked? Not him. Well okay that was rude, even if just a thought. He should make up for that.Sirius shook his head violently to calm his thoughts. Why would he make up for it? It was just inside his head. God he was such a mess.
"What is your zodiac sign?" Mr.Lupin asked all of sudden and Sirius just looked at him fo a while.
"...Your horoscope." The man cleared and Sirius woke up from his thoughts.
"Y-yeah I knew that... I am Scorpio." Sirius muttered to himself before giving the answer to the scarred man. Mr.Lupin nod approvingly.
"Determined, bold and secretive. Fits you." He said flashing a smile. Sirius could tell that it wasn't real.Mr.Lupin rubbed a side of his head like he was having a headache. Sirius was sure that he was just awkward and bored with him.
"What is yours? Horoscope I mean." Sirius asked and Mr.Lupin looked back to him like suspected.
"Mine? I am Pisces." Mr.Lupin answered with slight amount of amusement in his voice.
