James P.O.V

As I look over at Y/N I can see that she is deep in her thoughts.

"you okay?"

"Yea" she gave me a weak smile.

What is she thinking about? She's been acting so weird lately. Is she not in love with me? No way, she's been dating me for two years.It's probably Ethan bugging her. We walked out of the school towards her matte black jeep. As we approached it I could see Ethan standing against it. He started walking towards Y/N.

"I'm sorry"

"Yea sure you are" Y/N said trying to walk past him

He grabbed her hand, That's when my anger spiked, I punched him straights in the face.

"Don't touch her"

"What the fuck is your problem, James?!"

"You, fucking asshole"

Ethan tackled me and started throwing punches. I noticed Y/N screaming telling him and me to stop.Once got a punch to his nose, he fell to the ground in pain. I got on top of him and started punching his face uncontrollably until Y/N pulled me off. She pulled me in the car while Ethan was still on the ground groaning from pain.

"Fuck you!" I screamed out of the window

"James what the fuck? You can get suspended again"

"I don't give a fuck about that, He grabbed you by the hand I'm not gonna let him do that shit"

"James I can look after myself, promise you won't do that again, ever."

I rolled my eyes "yeah, I promise"

The car ride to my house was silent. Once she got to there I glanced at her,she looked mad.

"I love you" I said kissing her

"I love you too" It sounded like she didn't mean it, but I just brushed it off and got out of the car.

Y/N P.O.V

I didn't bother calling my mom when I got home as I assumed she already knew that I got suspended. I knew that once she got home an argument would start, she'd start yelling at about how many times I got suspended and how I need to tone down my attitude, as always I'd use my dad and her splitting as an excuse and say it's hard for me although I couldn't care less, to be honest I wasn't mad with neither of them. Even I could tell they were falling out of love months before their divorce.

I went to the kitchen to grab a snack. Afterward, I headed upstairs to my room. I plopped down on my bed and started going through my phone. As I was on snapchat looking through the stories I got a text from Y/B/N

-What the hell happened? Are you suspended? 

-Yea, Ethan happened

-Well fuck, for how long?

-For a fucking week, it's bullshit I didn't even do anything.

-You lucky bitch, a week of off school

-TRUE, have fun in math:)

-Love you too

I loved Y/B/N she has been there for me since I was 7, I have no idea what id do without her. As I finished up texting her I felt tired and I slowly started to fall asleep.
