I saw the beautiful view of the city

"This is my special spot.." Ethan said staring at the flashing lights in the distance.

"It's gorgeous" I was feeling tired so I laid back on the dirt gazing at the stars, so did Ethan. We laid there in silence until it got dark and I could feel myself zoning out. When I opened my eyes all I could see was Ethan inches away from me, his arm was rapped around me and he was loudly snoring. I wanted to check the time but I realized that I left my phone in the car. I reached into Ethan's back pocket trying to get his phone. When he opened his eyes and noticed my hand was on his ass he moved his hand from my back to my ass with a delicate smile on his face, this was hilarious to me. I layed there for another 5 minutes staring at him, he was so peaceful. As I remembered abut the time, I got his phone and checked it, 5 AM?!

"Ethan get up" I said lightly shaking him. All he did was pull me closer to himself. I smiled and started shaking him more aggressively

"I'm up I'm up!"

"Where are your car keys?"

"Here" he said passing me the keys

Once I got to the car I got my phone and unlocked it to various messages from James he seemed really agitated

-Where are you?

-Are you with Ethan now?

-You are such a whore!

(4 missed calls from James)

-CLL NE BAK RM!

-I SWER TO GOD I WILL FND U 2 AND BEAT THE FICK IUT OF U!

What the fuck was he drunk? I got startled by the sound of something smacking down on the hood of the car. My head shot up to Ethan smacking James on the car and punching him with really bloody knuckles Everything was happening so fast, I just needed a second but I didn't have one as I remembered that Ethan was just in a really bad fight. I ran out of the car and instead of just yelling at them to stop this time I came in between them and tried to pry them apart.

"STOP! PLEASE STOP!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Not too long after I felt a sting in my nose....James punched me. I was shocked so I didn't realize how much it hurt. I've been punched many times in the face by all the girls I got into fights with, but I never thought James would have it in him to do this.

"You fucking hit her! WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM IM GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!" Ethan started screaming at James once he noticed my nose bleed. The next thing I see is Ethan punching James with no control over himself. I pulled him off with all my strength and shoved him in the car, as we drove away James tried to jump on the hood of the car but he didn't have a chance to.

"Are you okay?" Ethan said placing his hand on my thigh

"Yea I'm fine, Are you okay?"

"I'll live"

Ethan's P.O.V

I could tell she was not fine. Once we got back to her house she went upstairs to take a shower. All I did was wash my face. I sat on the couch in her living room thinking of what the fuck just happened. James punched Y/N, he punched her. As I made my way upstairs to her room, I found her passed out on her bed. Today I had school and she was suspended so I decided to stay with her. I layed down beside her and wrapped my arms around her. The moment James punched her, I realized that I would do anything to keep her safe.

Around 12pm.....

I slowly opened my eyes, to realize that Y/N was gone, she wasn't beside me. This got me wide awake, I jumped out of bed and started screaming her name

"What?" she yelled at me from the bathroom

"Oh for fucks sake, I thought u disappeared"

"Ethan, where would I go? I live here" she said while peeking her head out of the bathroom

"Why aren't you at school, E?"

"Because I wanted to stay home with you"

"Does anybody know you're here? Grayson? your mom?"

"Oh shit true, I should probably tell them"

"Yea probably." She said quietly giggling

-Gray I'm at Y/N's house, I'm not coming to school

-Where the hell where you yesterday?

-At her house

-Are you guys a thing now

-I'll tell you later, for now just tell mom something

-What do I tell her?

-I don't know, come up with something.

- Okay, but you owe me one

-mhm

"So what do you want to do today?"

"I don't know, your choice Y/N."

"Well I don't know either but first lets get pizza"

"Okay, which flavour?"

"It doesn't matter to me, just anything but pineapple"

"Are you serious? pineapple is the best"

"No"

"Yeah, just try it again"

"Ok fine."

Around 30 minutes after we ordered the pizza we got a knock on the door

"I got it" Y/N said getting up, she was wearing my shirt which looked so cute on her.

"Ethan who is this?"

"Huh?"

"Its not the pizza guy" she said giving me a look. When I got to the door and saw who was standing there, well I could say one thing. It was not the pizza guy....
