The blood covering his face explained a lot, but I could tell he wasn't a harm to me, so I followed him out to wherever he was leading me until we stopped in front of a large gate, "You are Cameron Simmons yes?" He asks kindly.

I nod and smile, "That's me, thank you for saving me."

He shakes his head, "Oh no it wasn't me. I just had to get you out, it was her last wish."

I cock my head to the side curiously, "Huh?"

"You didn't know?" He asks frowning, "I thought you knew."

"What do you mean?" I asks

"I'm sorry but—"

The stranger is interrupted by a barking sound and I look through the gate and see a dog running up to me. I burrow my eyebrows in confusion, "Leo?"

The dog whimpers and barks up at me. His big brown eyes look almost pleasingly into mine as he twirls and runs away. I follow him, some instinct of mine urges me to follow him, as of Leo is trying to show me something.

He keeps running and I stop, "Leo! Hey!" I say and the dog turns around, "Where's Anne?" I ask, and then I turn to the stranger, "Where is the owner of this dog?"

"She's uh... She's taking a rest." He says fumbling with his hands. I squint at him to see if he's lying, but he shows no reason for me to doubt him.

Leo barks once more and I follow him to a little alleyway. He stops and walks beside me slowly. I hear him whimpering as I approach a still body. Leo jumps over it and sniffs the head.

I kneel beside the body and I hear a single rugged breath escape. I gasp slightly and back away, "Oh my god they're still alive! Hey you—"

"My name is Glenn."

"Whatever, call an ambulance!"

"Cameron." I look down and find a girl looking up at me, her voice is ragged and broken, but she sounds so strong in this moment.

"Anne?"

She stifles a laugh, "Hey."

"Jesus Christ Anne, what are you doing here?" I throw my hands to her head and pull her upwards so she lays on my lap.

She laughs once more and I shake my head, "Saving you."

"Glenn get your phone—"

"Phone?"

I whisper to myself, "Oh my god, who is this."

Anne glances at the man, "A friend."

Glenn smiles and nods.

"Listen, Cameron you have to leave. It's not the right time. If he finds you I won't be able to forgive myself and I remember that I promised him the next full moon and—" I shake my head and place my finger on her mouth.

"You're dying Anne," I begging to choke up and I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to cry or sob, "You don't know what you're saying."

"No I do Cameron. And I realise now that—"

"YOU!" A voice burning with familiarity echoes from the bushes.

I turn my head to meet a man in his late twenties, his face is familiar just as his voice, he looks like Michael. He then points to Anne, "You are the cause for this."

Anne tries to move but I stop her, "You said the next full moon. You keep your promise and I keep mine."

He begins to run towards Anne and I but Glenn stops him from doing so, "Your friend here will not be able to stop me when I unleash my fury—"

"Your fury? I hope you're aware of how villainous and evil you sound." Glenn says pushing the man back.

"You can do nothing. I will get what was promised."

Anne tries to sit up, "And you will."

I shake my head, what are they talking about?

"On the next full moon Anne Monroe. If she is not to me by then, you will not get your parents back." The man shoves Glenn of himself and straightens his suit so there are no creases, "Till next time Accalia."

Anne freezes as he turns to walk away, "Till next time Massimo." The man stops and turns his head slightly before disappearing into the darkness that dissipates into the forest.
